I signed up to this email address when it was Freeserve and it was fit for purpose back then. It was then taken over by Wanadoo who were in turn gobbled up by Orange. Despite getting advertising revenue, orange haven't upgrade the service which means it is not compatible with MS outlook or iPhones. The most annoying thing is that I can log on from my laptop at home but when out of the country every attempt to read emails just brings up the sign on screen. So it looks like I'll have to wait till I get back home on Thursday. Fortunately it's the account I use for purchases and usually full of spam from previous transactions I think orange are hoping people will get fed up and stop using this account. This is sickening when I consider that I, and other members of our household must be spending £200/month with EE. Everworse Evermore

Trying to organise and event and contact the 200+ users in my address book. Tried to bulk send, can only send 12 at a time. sent about 50 and then the account shut down as contravening terms and conditions. About as useful as a chocolate fire guard!! Even when it was working, to send an email took 2-5 mins per email. Got to get rid of this system, would love to know how to download my address book?

I have a valid fsmail address but am unable to access it although emails to this address are not rejected Repeatedly get message it or password is not recognised yet when I attempt to reset password message states address not recognised Help screens are useless as they relate to orange phone or broadband customers and there is no help for non customers Customer services stated they do not help non customers so there is nowhere to gain assistance when I was able to use the email service I was satisfied with it

I was asked by a less PC-literate friend to set up her ancient fsmail.net account of her iphone However, this last-millenium webmail service does not apparently allow this. fsmail.net has no place in the smart-phone ready world. Obsolete.

I am an Orange user of many years FS.net and since you have changed to EE the user site is aporling and I can see from many people that they are totally frustrated and with this in mind I Am seriously thinking of changing.

I have been an Orange account holder for many years, using an fsmail account. The fsmail service was never fast or responsive. Over the last 12 months it became virtually unuseable due to its' slowness to 'reply' to or 'forward' mail. I decided I would need to open an account with another provider to run in tandem with fsmail. I attempted to send off emails to my many (approx 200) contacts to advise them of my alternative email address. fsmail has never allowed me to sen emails to more than 14 addressees at any one time so I had to send them off in batches of 12-14. Suddenly, and without warning, my account was locked by the fsmail "Abuse Team" as they like to be known. They told me I was in breach of their Terms and Conditions, but wouldn't say why. It appears that contractuallyI am restricted to 20 recipients in a single email, and a total of 90 recipients in a 24 hour period and of course I had ticked a box to say that I had "read and agreed with"the terms and agreements. Having contacted the relevant Orange Complaints Dept, and several emails later, they agreed to unlock my fsmail box. 24 hours later that still hasn't happened despite them telling me 18 hours ago my mail box was unlocked. The measures Orange take are Draconian in the extreme. There are no warnings given, one moment you are in contact with the world, next moment cut off no access to incoming mail,Contacts or Folders. My advice to any potential "Steer well clear of fsmail".

Sent a neighbour with a @fsmail.net address a brief email with a link to my web site.
FS Mail rejected it as unsuitable content.
Emailed [email protected]. FS Mail changed the TO email address to [email protected] and then rejected my complaint because 'X-SMTP-Server; Host or domain name not found. Name service error for name=freeserve.com type=A: Host found but no data record of requested type'
Complained to cable & Wireless whose email address is on the domain for admin and technical problems but C&W deleted my email without reading it.
What a bunch of idiots.

I was really looking forward to using this FSMail email facility as I was able to have an email address that looked OK. Unfortunately it was only when I started using it I found that if you want to reply or forward any messages it takes ages to load the previous message into your new message, and that is because it loads them up as a gif image!!! It's annoying to wait for it and it'll use up lots of memory. Pretty unusable for me.

www.fsmail.net is an excellent site for those who only want to send a few emails to a very limited number of contacts. Logical and easy to use even for non pc literate. Spam filter somewhat limited in scope. Limits on number of contacts you can email at any one time are too low Site shut down my 1st account x3 due to excessive use in less than 30mins to no more than 24 contacts.

I would well recommend Orange FSMail.net, very simple and easy to use which for me is the most effective aspect so far of this email address site. The fact that after a day of using FSMail I feel I can navigate around almost everything FSMail Net has to offer I find very promising as I still find other sites like GMail hard to use!
Lovely display with nice colours that are simple on the eye, including the easy to use design makes FSMail.net already my favourite email address service. The Orange Login is also very quick and simple, with no annoying secret questions and has to know your whole life story before you can sign up which impressed me!
Only bad point for me so far is the speed of sending and receiving mail, which I suppose is actually the biggest aspect of a mail service provider, I found FSMail email slightly slow, I did a few tests sending emails to and from other email address sites and after timing did find FSMail to be the slowest. However with me being a 'noobie' to the address site I suppose it could speed up in time when it is more used to the recent contacts?
For now however I well recommend Orange Web FSMail.net!
