I used the eyeliner twice and then after a cold night tried again. Nothing. Put it in the microwave for 5 seconds and it gushed out. Now it can be shaken and fluid arrives to the base. Raewyn

the first time is used this, i thought i had to shake it or squeeze it because nothing came out. i pushed it really hard against the back of my hand and a very feint line came out. i tried it on my eyelid and nothing came out. i tried it again on my hand and a very pale brown line came out but i had to push it down very hard, there's no way i could apply that kind of pressure onto my eyelid without causing serious damage! It is an absolute waste of money and i shall be taking it back to the shop tomorrow for a refund. the tip was dry and it was as though i had used it all or left the lid off for weeks. i do not recommend it and don't even want to give it one star. i shall also be contacting max factor

as grey eyeliner is quite difficult to buy I was pleased to purchase one of these. Completely and utterly disappointed---- it did not even contain enough for my second eye.I think this product should be withdrawn. As it was not fit for purpose I returned it to Boots where I showed the reviews and was given my cash back--- and that was without the receipt. My advice is RETURN IT TO STORE!

OMG. I wish I was here before I made the purchase.
What's wrong with Max factor people??? At first I thought I bought a faulty one as nothing came out and the tip was too soft to make any line at all!
Then I shook the product a few times, pressed very hard on the back of my hand, then some color finally appeared but the color is too weak (black brown), it gives kind of timid impression, not at all defining...
Anyway, DO NOT BUY this, girls. Total waste of money.

I only bought this eyeliner because it was the only one in the supermarket. I've probably tried about 7 brands of liquid eyeliner and this one, despite being the most expensive, was by far the worst. I cannot believe that it's even on the shelf. The first time I used it, I thought it was quite good and was very easy to apply, the second time was okay but less came out. And now, after using it TWICE, nothing comes out /at all/. I am completely outraged to be honest and will be letting Max Factor know how completely useless this product is. DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY.

Max Factor glide and define liquid eyeliner is terrible, managed to do only one eye and that was it! It seems to have dried up and nothing else will come out. Not cheap, a waste of money!

Max Factor should never have placed this product on the market. I give it a rating of minus 100. Nothing flows from the tip! Absolutely nothing.I wish I'd seen the other reviews first and selected a different brand. I hope I can get my money back and purchase another brand. Max Factor should fire the people who conducted tests and surveys. They lied to somebody and this is grand theft!!!

I bought the grey version and it's truly the worst item of makeup I've ever had. I can't believe they did any product testing on it! It has dried up within a couple of uses, only ever came out a very pale watery consistency, and fails to last. Dont waste your money.

i was very excited about this new Max Factor Masterpiece Glide & Define Liquid Eyeliner only to find it rubbish it is now in the bin i always wear liquid eyeliner but this must be the worst yet!!! i would not recomend it to any one! it ran out within 2 uses!

The end dries out within two seconds and the liquid doesn't come out, Max Factor Masterpiece Glide & Define Liquid Eyeliner is expensive and it comes off easy. It's expensive for what it is.

Max Factor Masterpiece Glide & Define Liquid Eyeliner line faded about an hour after application. after using a few times there was hardly any liquid left. very disappointing. definitely not worth my NZD$25.

I bought the Max Factor Masterpiece Glide & Define Liquid Eyeliner hoping I'd found an easy to apply liquid liner at last. Initially it seemed good, nice, thickish not too heavy line - but after literally using it about half a dozen times over about 1 month it stopped producing a solid line - instead it came out like a parallel line with no pigment in the middle. Even going over the same line several times didn't work. I thought it must be faulty so took it back to the shop and exchanged it for another one - with exactly the same results! Have now complained to Proctor & Gamble who immediately refunded the money, which was good - but now I have to start the search for an easy to apply liquid eyeliner again!

As the other reviewer I bought the grey one. Used it twice and then threw it away since even if I did get it to work in the first place it seemed to fade away within a matter of minutes.
Now i don't know if it is because of the grey pigment but I'm not ever going to buy another one to find out.

I got Max Factor Masterpiece Glide and Define Liquid Eyeliner free with the masterpiece mascara - i chose the grey colour. Truly the worst eyeliner I have ever used. It has a felt-tip style applicator and the colour is supposed to flow consistently through, but I could never get further than half an eye before the colour ran out!
Spent 10 minutes trying to get the liquid to flow through the tip, shaking vigorously, nothing came through.. although from time to time I did get a load of drips splattered around my bathroom! When the colour does come through it's watery and weak and takes several coats to apply a solid line.
I ended up chucking it in the bin and going back to my kohl pencil. So glad this was a freebie and I hadn't spent money on it.

Totally agree, I had to change mine twice as I thought it was just a faulty one. Not only did it not work it had no colour and the residue from the liquid that came out made my eyes run constantly for about 15 mins. So not only do I think it's naff it's a lot to pay for an eyeliner that also ruins your mascara
