The Beachcomber is a beautiful place for any meal, at any time! It is also open everyday a week, without a generic closing time! Dogs allowed, and plenty for kids to occupy themselves with. Staff are lovely! Would love to go back again :) (read more)

Visited the Beachcomber at Teignmouth while on holiday in Devon in May/June 2010. They open normally 8am -6pm but we didnt order till 5.50pm and they stayed open for us and for others that came in later, four of us dined 3 Adults and 1 Child the Food was lovely and freshley cooked and with puddings and drinks averaged out £11 per head. Will most definately be visiting again next year when we go back on hols, with youngest daughter. Menu extensive, some things pricier than others but... (read more)

Pleasant seating inside with good views of the sea especially when the weather is a little chilly, the Beachcomber even allowed us to take our well behaved Westie inside, not found many places in Teignmouth that you can do that - this made our day had a very pleasant visit (read more)

“Since the new owners have taken The Beachcomber over...”

Since the new owners have taken The Beachcomber over early this summer they have updated the menu, upgraded the takeaway and generally spruced things up a bit, without taking away the cosy atmosphere and good value for money food. I would recommend the home made cakes, and gorgeous cream teas.
I will be going back again and again. (read more)
