Veho VFS-001 5MP Film Negative does work with 64 bit vista the drivers are on the install disk, you are prompted to select the OS when the install runs. Takes 3-4 mins from getting it out the box to doing your first Scan. The slide holder has a very awkward little plastic latch which I have trouble opening.

I had a very bad experience with VFS-001 my daughter bought it for me as a Christmas present, I attempted to run it with my 64 bit Vista computer it did not work, so I tried it on an old windows XP system it was very unstable and produced scanned slides with lines all across.
I emailed Veho to the fact that I was having problems with Vista and after many unanswered they finally got back to me and advisede me to try various things like disconnecting all other periferals/ down loading drivers/ cle ...- Read eddie1946's review (179 words)

These things are basically 5MP CCD camera sensors in a box pointing at a slide with a light behind it. They aren't scanners in the traditional sense.
