Whilst a couple of bikes I wanted were also not in stock or had sold out, they kept me informed and always recommended an alternative or two. The 2012 model has slightly better rack and mudguards and when I saw it advertised with Bikes 2U Direct at £300 less than retail, I could not resist. Well I have just wasted an entire day waiting for their courier, who was meant to come and collect a faulty Concept Turbo twister Scooter and didn't turn up, and has cost me time off at work. I think that this is discraceful lack of competance, which I see is echoed in the many negative online reviews that I have since read. I have had EXACTLY the same experience this week. The bike was faulty, scuffed frame and unfit to ride. The customer service was extremely frustrating and irritating. They even accused me of not packing the bike correctly and then said the bike had been damaged in transit and was my fault. Thank goodness I got a refund as these rogues were in the process of accusing me of damage and not returning my money. DO NOT DEAL WTH THEM. tHEY ARE ROGUES.

FAULTY BIKE, POOR SERVICE AND NO FULL REFUND We bought a £130 bike for my son's birthday from Bikes2UDirect. A Piranha P120. It was faulty and has been sent back but has still cost us £45! The bike was supposed to be delivered 75% assembled so you just have to fit the front wheel, handle bars and brakes. It wasn't. As we were buying 3 bikes we telephoned to ask how easy they were to put together, we were told it was a quick and easy, 5 minute job! After one hour of trying to put together one of the bikes, we had to resort to paying a bike shop to do all three. I emailed bikes2udirect who denied all knowledge of the conversation, they said it would take even a trained person 20 minutes to put the bike together!
