I'm a big fan. It's faster, less crash prone and less cluttered than Firefox. Firefox also failed to allow me to access my office network from home, iexplorer was very slow, but Google Chrome is fast and thus far problem free.Web based mail, video streaming and downloading is faster. One minor problem with downloading is that the program tries to be too clever, always trying to stick files in a 'downloads folder' whereas iexplorer remembers where you put the first file and puts the second there a ...- Read Economist4Justice's review (129 words)

Google Chrome is rubbish. Uninstalling it caused problems with Windows Mail and I could no longer use any links in my emails which took ages to fix. Beware!- Read sandmine's review (38 words)

I tried Google Chrome out as a Beta not so long ago, from using Firefox, and wasn't very impressed at first glance. I quickly switched back for its lack of customization. However, my computer was having a few problems at one point and what I really needed was a quick browser that would open as soon as I clicked it and I didn't have to mess about with once it had opened.Chrome was exactly what I needed. After trying a few browsers and being disappointed, I came to Chrome with low expectations but ...- Read Guest's review (316 words)

This browser for some reason feels like windows xp graphics all over again, babyish. It is clean to the point of un-functional at the moment. It does load quite fast, and all pages load pretty well. It is quite a lot like Apple Safari in my opinion, as google can be quite original I feel. Therefore do not recommend Google Chrome...- Read Guest's review (71 words)

Chrome is not ready for prime time. I have used Firefox, Opera and IE browsers. I am primarily an Opera browser user. While Chrome is faster than IE I didn't see a noticeable difference over Firefox or Opera. Although Chrome has a nice clean look I have come to like my clutter. With Opera I can change and configure the browser layout many different ways. With Chrome WYSIWYG, I kept looking for the extras. Only notable feature I found was opening new tab. Chrome automatically displays thumbnail o ...- Read GeorgeEO's review (185 words)

I decided to download Google Chrome because I like most products that Google do. Performance wise I wasn't disappointed, it is very fast when searching for web pages and I like the fact they've gone along the same route as Safari with the book marks bar along the top so you've got easy access to your favorite sites and they're just a click away. Also when you first open up the browser it gives a list of all the sites that you look at the most so you can easily just click on the picture and go st ...- Read springboy's review (212 words)

I decided to down load this browser because I'm a bit of a Google fan. Most of there stuff is good and worth having, so I thought I'd give it a go. First impression is that it is uncluttered unlike many browsers, and it is very fast to use. Up until now Safari was always the fastest on my pc, but this seems to beat it hands down,it has the same book mark bar set up as Safari so i'm familiar with it. The only downside is it freezes every now and then which i find really annoying to say the least ...- Read springboy's review (181 words)

One bar for search and web pages
Extremely fast
Good crash control
Too slow downloading files. It needs a download engine also, you cannot modify your bookmarks structure.
It doesn't work on Linux either for me...
In general, very satisfying. I would just see the items above fixed. Well recommend Google Chrome for a web browser.- Read Guest's review (56 words)

Wears out the hard drive. I don't know what goggle is doing but as soon as Chrome is launched the hard disk never stops scanning. I will continue to test Chrome because I am impressed with Goggle in general. But I am watching my hard drive activity with suspicion! For now I recommend Google Chrome BETA and to download it!- Read brucepiggott's review (66 words)

This morning I did the Google BETA download and absolutely loved it within in mintutes after a day of using this browser my conclusion is...A very open and clean feel to the browser.Very simple yet very effective as I would think anyone could use this browser at any age.Like the idea of the tabs web address and toolbar all included into one block, prefer it over Firefox where there was the status bar, web adress, toolbar... all in blocks. To be honest would pick this over IE and Firefox and its ...- Read zEURE's review (101 words)

Nothing special and you cant add add ons but I suppose it just a regular browser... Did not add any special features that I did not have with firefox. Chrome task manager is nice but not sure if it is correct because when you look at windows task manager it is a bit different.- Read Guest's review (62 words)

Feels like what it is.... a Beta! I will surely give it a try later. First impression - Google Chrome is a promising browser. I'm just afraid that I may be a little too in love with FF. Nevertheless it beats IE just like it is right now, well recommended!- Read Guest's review (58 words)
