Good Points: Extremely great accuracy, high rate of fire, easy to disassemble, great exterior quality, real trade marks, great value for the price, lots of metal parts, charging handle moves, and just about everything else except for the bad points.

Bad Points: You can see the crack where the plastic parts were molded together (Mostly noticable on the stock. Not a big deal though), needs some internal work to have as much quality as a higher priced classic army, shell ejection port does not open nor does the charging handle do anything except for fun factor, The exterior finishes are not the best.

General comments: This Classic Army MP5 A2 Sportline Metal Body is Classic Army's response to make cheaper, but yet still high quality airsoft guns as echo 1 is doing. The pacage includes 200 .2g bbs (who cares), the gun (duh), the instructions, a cleaning rod, and the packaging of material such as the material of an egg carton. The instructions were well written (with no confusing chinese language!!!) and have well illustrated pictures. There is a value package for the plastic body version that includes a battery, charger and some other things.Part materials: The metal parts on the gun include: body, gearbox, sling mounts, front sight assembly / gas tube cover (all one piece), charging handle (fake), charging handle guide, trigger, fire selector switch, magazine (mostly), magazine well, rear sight, motor cooling plate, magazine release (both), barrel (might be alluminum), part of hop-up assembly, a hook on the side of the magazine well (not sure what it is), and some internal parts. The plastic parts include: foregrip, charging handle casing, front part of gas tube, stock, pistol grip, lower receiver, orange tip, part of magazine, part of butt, barrel and gas tube connecter, and some internal parts.Quick specs:FPS: 315-330fire modes: safe, semi, fullpower source: electricmag capacity: 200rds; hi-cap (wheel)Hop- Up: adjustableMaximum affective range: 150ftMaximum able range (shooting horozontal) : 230+ feetBattery type: large/small type, large connecterShooting: The gun's sights are not adjustable and don't need to be. Out of the box it shoots right on the mark of the sight. The hop-up is precise and can be adjusted easily in it's location. The gun fires smoothly with a good sound and a high rate of fire. At 30ft, on semi, the bbs easily got in a 4 inch grouping. At 60ft, 8 shots on semi, the bbs got about 6-10 inch groupings. All 8 hit. At 85ft (as much as I could test), 8 shots on semi, the bbs could hit a standard white sheet of printer paper (about the size of a piece of notebook paper). 6 of 8 shots hit. Exterior finish:The finishes on this gun are OK. The metal parts including the fire selector switch, front sight / gas tube cover, rear sight, trigger, rear sling mount, motor cooling plate, and mag releases almost look like the paint is rubbing off even when I first got it. As a result, these parts stand out a lot. The other metal parts luckily including the body have a perfect finish that of flat black with a smooth feel. Surprisingly, every main piece of plastic has a different texture and look from each other. The stock has a semi-rough feel with a flat black finish. The pistol grip and lower receiver has a shiny black look with a rough feel. I thing that this stands out a little to much. The fore grip has a semi-shiny black finish that feels smooth and reacts (gets slippery) a lot when you hand sweats.Unique features: One of the unique features which is not so unique compared to other HK weapons and most airsoft HK reaplicas is the rear sight. It has 4 different sized holes each tells how accurate you want to be. Another thing unique on the gun is where the hop-up is located. It is located under the foregrip, but can be accessed while the foregrip is on. This makes hop-up easily and quickly adjustable. Another feature is the space where the battery would go on the A3 model under the foregrip. You could put some weight in there and even some extra ammo. Another unique thing about this model is the trade marks. It has the real "B&T" logo engraved in the metal body and each model has a unique serial number. It also says Kal 9mmx19 on the magazine and on the magazine well. A nice unique touch to the finish is the fake weld marks. The most noticable ones are below the rear sight, at the front of the top receiver (body), and on the ejection port cover. I know, you are probably wondering where the classic army symbol is. Luckily it is in unnoticed places otherwise the gun would look unreal. Aside from the company's symbol on the internal gears, you will find it says "Classic Army" on the motor cooling plate.Echo 1 comparison: Comparing Classic Army's sportline series to the JG echo 1 series (Yes, I do own an echo 1), I would strongly recommend you pay $30 more to get a sportline over an echo 1. The reason being is that my echo 1 experience has not been that great. I don't know if it is my model or what, but it is horrible (I own the echo 1 m4 carbine). The echo 1 shooting is completely opposite of the sportline. The echo 1 has this loud thumping noise when you fire it and it sounds and feels like it is going to fall apart in you hands. The finish of the echo 1 (the body NOT being metal unlike the mb sportline) is bad. The paint peels off just at the touch and makes it look like you have scratches all over it. On my model, the hop-up I can not turn down for some reason. Also on semi it shoots left and on auto it shoots right. GET A SPORTLINE INSTEAD!!!!!!!Conclusion: For being around $180 at s4-tactical.com, it's a great deal. You need to do a couple things to the internals for it to be as good as a Classic Army over $200. For the value though, it is great. I would strongly recommend this gun to anyone whether you are a beginner or a professional. Thanks for reading and if you purchased this product, congratulations!!!
