After two Flymo's, with a fairly short life, We have owned our Qualcast Power-Trak 34 since 2005 cutting about 170 sq.m. grass. It is easy to manoevre, not too heavy and for me at 6ft comfortable to handle. Cuts 'well' but not 'brilliantly', you can go right up to the edge, with the roller keeping the balance. I understand that Qualcast has now been sold by Bosch to a Chinese manufacturer. So dont make any assumptions from previous experiences.

I can understand winnatg to be environmentally friendly, but are you serious about winnatg to waste that much time cutting grass?if you are going to go through that much trouble, why not just use scissors?try buying an electric lawnmower and buying green energy. the time you'll save will be well worth the investment of a little higher electric bill.
