Good Points: Very fast, elegant, roomy, handles superbly, and rides smooth as molasses
Bad Points: I see a lot of these in our shop needing major matainence done to them
General comments: My family has had this BMW 7 Series ever since it came out. I love this car its power is not what you would excpect from a luxury sedan instead I think it would do well in a street race.

Owned a 1989 BMW 750iL for 2 years. When they go well they're great, but costs can be horrendous. Dual mode suspension, which works brilliantly, but cost thousands to get fixed (left and right rear shocks come at different prices, also has Citroen style pneumatics for self levelling).

Brought this beast last week, travelled 1200k's for the right car, 120'000 k's on the clock with all the paperwork, mint condition throught, Drove it back what a dream smooth as they come, great high speed straight line car drove at night around 160k's all the way back and did'nt miss a beat. Best Value car I have ever brought, $16500 NZ (around 5000 pounds). When new at least $200 plus here....I could have brought a house back then for that, my mid life toy.- Read Madmax's review (163 words)

Ok....Let me start by saying this...I brought this BMW 750i (1992) for what you could buy a 6-7 year old Escort!!! Reason is basically - running it. At first glance...you wouldn't expect this beast to accelerate to a *limited* 155 m.p.h. You are encaged within 2 tons of metal and leather. Gadgets + luxuries include...Electric everything, leather clad on seats, gear knob, steering wheel, door trim (fnt + rear), Computer, Air con, Rear blind, heated front screen, ASC + T, 'Sports' or 'comfort' sus ...- Read gaz's review (147 words and 2 comments)
