    Good Points: Varied, old-skool rock. Not many adverts for commercial radio, funny DJ's, what more do you want?!


    Bad Points: Some repeated songs, but thats about it.


    General comments: It plays old skool rock, some new stuff, some classics, some lost to the mists of time. It is a rare evening that i have not cranked up the volume on my hi-fi at some point! The DJ's are funny and entertaining, and don't talk for too long between songs. Being an commercial station, there are adverts, but they are few in number and don't irritate. It has online listening which, for someone not based anywhere near Manchester, and who's local radio is a stream of adverts and not much else, is fortunate.

    Unlike other "rock" radio's, Rock Radio Manchester has a refreshing selection of rock and heavy metal" covering the last 40 years or so. I'll admit that I don't listen to it an awful lot but when i have the music played has been eclectic and unlike most commercial radio stations they didn't play the same songs over and over again. I expect it has quite a wide audience as it play music both me and my parents like.
