It took a week for me to get my unlock code and that was only after starting a dispute on paypal. I emailed them almost everyday without a response on their end and wanted to cancel my order. They finally gave me the code and said I couldn't have a refund because they gave me the code. This site has terrible customer service and should not be trusted. (read more)

Just one word to describe the service. AWESOME! Got my iphone 5 on release day from AT&T and visited FreeYourCellphone.com to get it unlocked They emailed me notification that it was unlocked in 30 minutes! all I had to do was connect to itunes to complete the factory unlock. iTunes gave me the congratulations your iPhone is unlocked message I poped in my cut down t-Mobile nano sim and voila, it worked right away! Great Site, I was recommended by friends on crackberry.com I ordered my unlock code and got it in only about 3 hours damn good and the cheapest price I could find online to unlock my phone it was $24 where as others were charging about $30-$39 for the same thing and with slower delivery. Also They took Paypal which is safe and easy to pay with. Definitely recommend Cheers! (read more)

Though I am sure I could have done this for free via rooting and an app etc, this was a simple and relatively inexpensive way to make my phone ready for travel. Great, Just Great! - I just unlocked my Brand Spanking new BELL HTC HD7 with these guys and am using it on Rogers!!!!
I tried unlocking it with another site and they couldn't do it, then my teacher recommended me to www.freeyourcellphone.com who came through and gave me the unlock code in 1 hour :)
Steal of a deal too, BELL Charges $75 + tax to unlock, these guys charged $29

I ordered thinking it was gonna be a great service knowing that it received mostly positive reviews. But not only did I receive my unlock code 4 days late, it was an incorrect code. I tried inputting the code a few times and my phone was hardlocked. I emailed them asking about the situation and they didn't provide any additional help at all. So I now basically have a $500 paper weight (Telus Motorola Milestone).
Would definitely not recommend this service to anyone.

I was surprised that I was able to receive a free code! I was having a difficult time in affording the fees other websites had charged to obtain a code to unlock my Blackberry Storm 9530. The rep from freeyourcellphone.com was able to help me out by giving me a free code. They were giving out free codes as a contest that was over a while back. It worked and I was able to use my phone. I successfully unlocked a Telus Motorola Backflip. It took 40 minutes to get my unlock code. Yes, it may appear that the service is expensive compared to others out there. But, given I spent 5.99 on another service that I never received nothing from, with FreeYourCellPhone.com at least I got what I paid for.
I am writing this review because initially I was worried that the service was a scam or not and that it would be working. It did work right as advertised. So I am leaving this review...

So far it's been 4 days of waiting for a code that was promised to take less than 24 hours. After trying to contact Free Your Cellphone several times, all I get is the standard auto-reply e-mail, no-one (as promised in the email) has gotten back to me.
