    Good Points: Staff service was excellent and well organised
    Food is good


    Bad Points: Mistakes on bills - VAT and final numbers
    I experienced poor aftersales attitude


    General comments: Truffles, Falmouth made mistakes on our bills with the number of guests being increased and a mistake over the VAT calculation meant our bill increased. After acknowledging the mistake they seemed to get increasingly rude with us in correspondence and did not accept a compromise payment. Due to only having an estimate with the VAT mistake we have to pay up legally. Also overcharged by 1 guest despite confirmation of numbers.


    Food was good - although we had pasties for main that were made by a local bakery and all Truffles just needed to collect and serve them rather than home bake! Other food was good (cheese platter/strawberries and cream) and the staff service was excellent and organised.

    Would use them again but would triple check estimates and calculations as this is appears to be a weak area.
