    Good Points: The shop LOOKS nice...


    Bad Points: Staff attitude
    Its a toy shop.... but they don't seem to like children!


    General comments: Last weekend we bought a toy guitar from The Big Top. It was quite cheap, and the staff seemed a bit awkward when we were in the shop. It broke immediately when we tried to tighten the strings (not very tightly), so we took it back, and changed it for a xylophone. They appeared hesitant to refund us.

    As we went to leave, we started to pick up the toys our daughter had touched. Just after I put the first thing into it's bucket on the floor, one member of staff shouted out "Excuse me, it's not my place to clear up after your children". They had apparently watched me start to tidy up, and had picked up 3 toys and my daughter's cookie that she had dropped. I said that I was picking the things up as they could see, and they defiantly showed me what they had picked up as if it was proof that I wasn't (!). I'm not sure what their point was.

    Would not recommend
