Hi just had my lashes done for the first time so as you can imagine I was a bit apprehensive. I hunted around as some places in Rotherham charge £80! So in the end a mum as school recommended who she uses. I've heard some nightmare stories so thought I'd do her a favour and recommend her. (read more)

I have tried nearly all the other brands but you can not beat Holloywood Lashes. They look fantastic and last longer than the other brands. I can not recommend them enough. :-D (read more)

Hollywood Lashes are fab, they were £200 for a set in Harrods/London. I paid £65 and they looked beautiful, slightly a crispier feel than my natural eyelashes but nothing like that awful heavy false look you see flashing around. They really are fantastic and yes some do fall out but thats mainly when you want a fuller look and they have no choice but to stick them on to a longer lash if the medium size lashes are already full.. so basically you ae bound to have them drop out after 2 weeks.... I am going on the hollywood lashes training course on monday and is very excited as both times i have had mine on they have looked fab and people have always commented on them! ladies i will think you find its your therapist that makes a big differance as i had none of the problems you have had both times i have had them on.. infact i got bored of them after i came of holiday i actually pulled them off so i think what you are saying is not really true as i think it depends with your... I agree with both sides of the debate, all cosmetic treatments have an element of risk, i think if applied correctly they can look good with a small amount of damage done! but also agree that there are to many people not doing it as they should, trying to save cost or time. My advice is to trust your salon, and the advice given. (read more)

I had Hollywood lashes put on about 2 1/2 weeks ago, not only have i already had to had them infilled, i have followed the aftercare to the letter, not used any oil products, actually bought the mascara from my therapist, which was gotten from the Hollywood website, so was water based, as was the make up remover (same thing water based website etc....) I had them done for my holiday, they lasted just over 4 days, i never used any oil products, didn't even get them wet! i never rubbed them,... (read more)

Could i just say,, a couple of factors could come into play here, you say you went on holiday? if sun cream was used on your face it could have come into contact with the bonds and sun creams have oil in them which would break them down. Also if your lash extensions come off without the natural lash it is down to the therapist not the product.

Hi, found your review very intresting to rooney 1980, it sounds to me that youve experienced bad service by your therapist not the actual product, the extension must be matched correctly and if the extension is too weighty on the lash this will cause damage and would explain the bald patches, also if they are fitted badly for example too close to the root of the natural lash this can cause irritation and may result in you picking or pulling the lash causing breakage, following professional... Was a little disappointed with how they looked at first and there was lashes missing from the outer corners of my eyes... looked ok though a few days after they had settled down but followed the after care to a T and still lost quite a few, leaving bald patches.
They have made a mess of my own lashes, which were lovely and think but quite short. Never again and would never recommend them.

Hollywood lashes are the best beauty item to hit the uk. They look great and mine last 4 weeks then i have them toped up. If you go away they obviously are not going to last as long as you are applying sun cream/oil but you would know this if you listened to the after care instructions. they may seem expensive but they save you £ and time on the makeup you no longer need and your eyes look Fab (read more)

I have just qualified on a eyelash extension course with Hollywood lashes. The process of putting these on your own natural lashes is intense and takes a lot of concentration and time.My first client is this week so i will be intrigued to see how long they last on her even by following the aftercare i have given her.The training course was fabulous and the products we use are far from cheap hence the costing.Infills should be recommended every 2-3 weeks girls and thats the price you pay for... You can get roped in by Hollywood Lashes and don't want to take them off. I think they're good but not worth the money. I think they aren't even that noticeable and get very twisted. (read more)
