Good Points: Good solid houses, build quality OK.
General comments: If I had the choice again, I would not buy a new Scotia home. We have been here for a year now and it does not feel like a new house, too many problems, some of which are still not 100%. Many minor niggly faults. Some were fixed fairly quickly but others were not. No great attention to detail, water pipes/central heating pipes not fixed to walls firmly enough or joists in attic, causing noise. Poor paint finish in all rooms, toilets not installed properly, no half flush. Garden drainage seemed inadequate caused by sub standard top soil, the snagging list stretched to 45 items.
