    Terrible build quality. Faced with having to quickly pick up a cheap bike for transport to a new job I had to opt for a Chinese bike. The Shineray XY125VE was the first one that presented itself within my price range. I wish I had stuck to using buses. The build quality is awful. The electrics fail repeatedly, even if they didnt fail how many bikes do you know have the hazard lights come on when the brakes are applied? The engine has even moved backwards in the frame twice within 2 weeks. I can move the handlebars up and down and the rust is creeping in pretty quick and mines kept indoors in my home. Terrible bike, even with new replacement parts it doesnt run right. Save up and by Japanese.

    the egine is gd on the Shineray XY125VE and it really gets goin but the electics are rubbish and my left foot peg feel of had to get it welded on

    Over all shineray ,known for dirtbikes, quads, and shine ray raceing team is from china ,yet when the japanese came into the market evan honda had same reputaion. oh its japanese , and as the japanese bike, did aventualy be come a great compeditor, do to economy and credit crunch china bike will be like japanese bikes aeventually, accepted yet because of the rep they must fight and shineray xy 125 ve, a bike that looks in a picture, dont do it justice but when you get it ,are in aww was one tho ...

    I can honestly say I've never had a bike so good as the Shineray XY125VE. its fast its big its pretty heavy yet even a new rider will be throwin it around corners after an hour of riding it an its dirt cheap I was going to buy a second hand bike for £700 but could only find shoddy broken ones at the time so thought I'd risk buying it an I've never looked back its a fantasic bike.
