    Good Points: Excellent sound, cost-effective, seems well-built


    Bad Points: Pad inside chassis can come loose with heat (very minor problem)


    General comments: I have used this DAC with a Marantz CD-48 and Pioneer DV-525, both lower-end players. The improvement in sound was immense. I feel that this DAC is a great way to upgrade an inexpensive CD player that has a digital output.The DAC also has a host of features, such as analog pass-through inputs, 96 kHz capability, a sturdy construction, and coaxial as well as optical inputs.
