I bought the kit as my first "real" rc car and spent a couple of days putting it together, firstly I'd say what a great price, nice speed for learning how to stear and turn corners aswell as racing around the garden with my brother who has a blizzard! It can cope easliy with terrain such as grass aswell as sandy/muddy tracks. It also is good on tarmac, but going into tight corners at high speeds does cause some drifting/ skidding.Faults with this car are that it has a very large turning... (read more)

Good beginners car - however some major design flaws and shoddy build quality in the RTR versions.

The car does around 25mph out of the box and can handle rough ground with ease. If you run it on tarmac, the tyres will wear quickly. You can adjust plenty of things on this car. On mine, the steering was toed out quite a way - this can be adjusted by screwing the hex nuts in or out behind the front wheels - or a much coarser adjustment can be done by moving the steering links to different... just bought one myself about 2 weeks ago, good car and durable but not much space for mods, need to totally rip apart the gear encasement just to play with gears etc, good value for money and great fun to drive once you speed it up a bit =] (read more)

An incredible piece of kit with a brilliant awd drive it really is spectacular over rough ground or smooth tarmac. Just one thing, it's not as rewarding as something which is a bit harder to drive. (read more)

Very good car for the beginner and if you install a good speed control/motor its very suitable for competition(low class).

price/quality is just perfect, can't find a car for that price that drives half that good out f the box. (read more)

I love my Ansmann 1/10 Master Smacker remote control car. Its so much fun to play with. It does take a while to charge but its worth it. I also think it would be better if it went faster but that ok. (read more)
