Good Points: Nicely designed site.
Bad Points: Completely altered my review completely changing the meaning of some linesDidn't respond to my emails of complaint
General comments: Ok, so I spent time reviewing the last restaurant I went to. I posted the review, however it got altered by staff at the site before going live.I didn't say anything rude or offensive and wouldn't have minded but the changes were so badly done they completely altered my review. For example they changed a line where I mentioned how we 'marveled at the awful pub garden' to 'we marveled at the pub garden'. Obviously this completely changes the meaning of the line. What is the point of spending time giving my opinion if someone then changes it?I wrote to complain but have received nothing back.

The lay out is poor in my opinion. It is difficult to separate the corn from the chaif. There a lot of adverts (sponsored links) at the top and web search at the bottom and a few lines of review in the middle. With them all in the same font and colour.
Has the site been check for usability by the disabled?

I have found reviewcentre to be a very good and helpful site, one of the main positive things I have to say about them is the reviews are good to get information on a company profile and to see what is recommended and what is not before use. The only bad point I have to make about this site is the reviews take FAR TO LONG in my opinion to appear on the site.

Review Centre is one of the most helpful sites to find on the internet I first came to the site in 2006 after looking on Google which I came across accidentally now I'm glad I found this site .This site features reviews which are useful and a lot of the review so tell the truth. What I do like is you can have your own opinion and say what you what to say about a website, an item or company. I love reviewcentre.com because you can read reviews from real people so you know it is trusted. I've made a lot of good decisions on products since I discovered Review Centre a few months back. If I'm about to buy a product now, I first check the consumer reviews on this site to make sure it is a good product. Thank you to the review centre team!

I've been using Review Centre for quite a long time now, I quickly look to see how people rate a product before buying it as I find the reviews very helpful. I have often changed my mind before buying a product due to certain and gone for a completely different brand or even product. Due to this help I have become a member and find it fun reviewing products I have purchased and currently owned.Very happy with Review Centre's help and have recommended it many friends!

This Website is extremely helpful when I was looking into air rifles, the reviews published helped me a lot!
Its not a bad aspect, that reviews are edited otherwise it would become like many other websites, which eventually end up in arguments and go off topic very rapidly and usually end in world war 3!

Since I came across Review Centre in 2006, it's changed the way I go about things before I make an important purchase or decision.
I always read a good ten or twenty reviews on Review Centre if I'm thinking about buying something new. I've found the genuine opinions and feedback help to narrow my search down, and sometimes finalise my decision about something that I'm looking in to.

I remember when I wrote my first review on Review Centre. It went live on the site within 24 hours, and it looked great, as they corrected all the mistakes.

I found the Review Centre quite by chance on Google search when looking for reviews on a particular car I was thinking of buying. I found what I was looking for and bought the car. I then decided to check reviews for other things, and found most very helpful. I got hooked.

The editorial oversight is uneven. A comment was published wherein the fellow (a gun nut apparently) was allowed to engage in a personal attack on me because he found fault with my review.
On the other hand, I submitted a book review of a Pulitzer Prize winner in literature, in which I excerpted dialogue of a mature nature, and found it was heavily censored.

I just want to follow up on what Jamezz said in one of his reviews.
I came across Review Centre last year, and since then I have pretty much used it as a 'bible'. Before I buy or book anything, I pop into the website and find out other peoples comments. This gives me the ability to 'ask' the correct questions when making my purchase.
The negative reviews are just as important as the positive ones. After all, what might suit and be acceptable to one person, may not be the same for anot ...

Review Centre is one of those places you visit on the web from either searching for reviews or by word of mouth. Review Centre is a great site and I enjoy spending my time here. The charity thing is also another good point I forgot to mention. Overall a good site which has a certain calmness about it that I enjoy.

I discovered the Review Centre by 'Googling' and have submitted reports on cars, books, financial products, holidays etc.
I do however detect one or two unintelligent 'comments' on people's reviews being allowed to surface. I myself am a volunteer moderator of probably the world's largest car consumer site - and the amount of stuff that is binned!
I think that all of us avid users of internet now realise that the spread of on-line resources was probably over-estimated around the year 2000 ...

A valuable consumer site that has improved over time and contains many honest reviews. Needs to improve on the user base and login usability and there should be topical chat rooms where users can network (unless I'm missing something) Site has of course got to make money but the affiliate links are marginally invasive and overdone.
