I called the credit exchange in March 2009 for their debt consolidation to help me manage my credit card bills. The salesperson assured me that he will to help me and will design a payment plan to get me out of debt in 4 to 5 years. I was happy believing the program will help me handle my credit and ensure my good credit standing. I called the credit exchange worked with a rep to figure out the best strategy for my 48k of unsecured debt. They developed a plan for payment over 40 months and they are going to work to settle with each creditor as well. The payment is half of what I am paying to the individual creditors and will even drop as the settlements start. It did require 2 initial larger amounts but not anymore than what all the debt payments were. I feel like I am making progress. (read more)

I contacted the credit exchange looking for help, to consolidate my credit card debt. Fortunally, I was able to get the money to pay off the debt, so I called the CE to cancel my account, due to me no longer needing thier service. They still took 300.00 out of my account, and refused to give me a refund, saying that I did not contact them in time. (read more)

tried to cancel my Credit Exchange account within the first three hours of signing up, no one confirmed or called back. 6 days later my account was drafted for almost $800.00 and was not refunded. (read more)

There was a point in our marriage where things were very horrible financially wise due to some circumstances beyond our control. We have always believed we should always be responsible for our bills. Thanks to a local credit counseling company, we paid off all of our debt. They contacted our creditors and got our interest rates lowered or even removed. The new payments was a lot lower than the ones we were paying. With their help, we came out of that bad time with flying colors. I would love... (read more)
