    I have owned this Hotpoint WDD960 model for under a year and have a pile of clothes with holes in them. There is clearly a problem with the drum.

    The Hotpoint WDD960 was a replacement for my zanussi washer dryer, comet very reluctantly replaced it after 9 engineer visits and about £100 in telephone calls. in hindsight my old zanussi was brilliant but finally gave up about 3 months before my 5 year extended warranty ran out, hence the reluctance to replace at their expense. unless it's just the machine i have i would say this model's dryer isn't very good, takes far too long when it is working.

    The Hotpoint WDD960 has great functionality if you are not too bothered about the information being displayed not agreeing with what the machine is actually doing.
