Good Points: Almost everything about the wide screen.
Bad Points: Front speaker mesh attracts dust,not keen on blue on off button.
General comments: Superb picture great spec solid build .

The design of the Loewe Xelos 5381zw cathoray television should be in a museum of modern art. Picture quality is superb. I have seen no other wide screen that comes close except the Loewe Aconda and the Bang and Olufsen, but this is a 15,000 television. Plasmas and LCD screens are no match for this cathoray television. Colours are rich and natural and produces a very sharp image. Considering it's a standard defenition television, I beleive it compares even with the best high definition widescre ...

The loewe xelos is great tv overall, but the sound is a little tinny and it's very complicated to change settings etc - The manual is intergrated. However the picture and build quality are fantastic, it's much better value than a philips or sony and online it is possible to buy one for about £700 there is no competition at this price!

Well, my first Loewe Xelos TV didnt work on arrival. It then took 3 weeks for a replacement - typical Loewe service!
When they work the picture is excellent. Very vivid 3-d, with excellent colours, the menu is very comprehensive even though it takes a while to sus it out.
channel change is slow and sound is quite weak.
stunning visually, top picture, poor service.
