    MacAllister MAC2.
How any company put this product on the market is unexplainable. After short time in use the "gun"leaked more water than the nossel. After a replacement was found (not easy) that also leaked badly just as much.
Over all nothing can said about this pressure except DO NOT BUY ONE!!

If you are thinking of buying a MacAllister - DON'T DO IT. Handgun broke after a few months (leaking so no pressure). Had lost receipt so B&Q were about as helpfull as a chocolate fire guard, in fact a chocolate fire guard would have been far better than the help from B&Q but they were very happy to sell me another hand gun. Replacing the hand gun and the connector on the unit snapped. B&Q even worse and MacAllister technical services basically said put it in the bin. Next time I will put my &po ...

I used this MacAllister MAC 1 TWICE in a week and that was it, the motor does sound like it even turns on anymore!!! The pressure washer must like washing my car even less than I do. This has to be the worst product I have ever read about it a review!! Went to B&Q and they were as usful as a chocolate fireguard. I got told to ring the help line, and nobody was there to answer the phone. Great stuff, I will just go to Wickes or Screwfix from now one, cheaper, better made, quality products!!

I have really only used this Macallistair pressure washer 10 times at most, and after the 4th or 5th time the detergent would not feed through from either container. Then the same problem has occured with my own as to as previous writer, where the pump unit at the hose outlet on the casing of the machine has split ,resulting in almost all pressure being lost. What a piece of crap! Dont even bother considering this regardless of sale price. Very unhappy of Scotland.

Worked o k first time i useed it. Stored over winter in garden shed. worked for about an hour this year and died on me. Seems like pump or motor has packed up. Nothing happens when the trigger is squeezed. After reading above comments seems like its for the tip. Will never buy another MacAllister.

The MacAllister MAC 1 worked great the 1st few months. But the casting split after its 1st winter storage even tho it was a mild winter! PROB DUE TO FROST, still managed to use it with its leaking, the pressure keeps stopping when in use like something is sticking, even before the casting to the inlet part was split. won't be buying anything more from this manufacturer.

It happened to us as well, just outside of warranty period the 'gun' of the MacAllister MAC 1 washer was locked and there was no help from B&Q.

My MacAllister MAC2 lasted just over a year, long enough to take it outside of the warranty. B&Q support line was completely unsupportive and I can't trace a reapir facility anywhere. I would reccomend steering well clear of Macallister products and B&Q.
It's replacement will be a better make bought from a shop that cares about after sales service.

This was doin a decent job until it died on me last Sunday. I bought the MAC 1 in summer 2007 and used it to wash patio flags, surrounding fence and my driveway each of the last 2 years. I called their tech help line who informed me that they have no repair facility and basically, because the warranty had expired, I'm stuck with some landfill fodder. Hung out to dry yet again.
