    Good Points: Great Audio & Picture,
    Good CD Audio playback.


    Bad Points: None.


    General comments: I have owned this Ioewe xemix DVD player for about 10 months and have had no problems at all. It is able to play all DVD's thrown at it regardless of region. Its CD Audio performance is much better than the Sony player it replaced and its Picture quality is awesome, especially through RGB. My only gripe is that the stop and pause buttons should be swapped around on what is otherwise a very good remote control.

    I suspect that this unit is based on a Marantz, as my learning remote uses a Marantz code to set it to work with the Xemix, and the LED display is exactly the same a Marantz DV4100 OSE.

    I bought this Loewe Xemix DVD player to match a loewe xelos tv. For the first few months it worked but i'd always found the transport intrusive.

    After one year it stopped reading the discs. To cut a long story short, it took 5 months to repair this biscuit tin with 4 different transports tried. Everytime time same old results: failure to read discs. This machine is a con, avoid.
