Ordered a bike for Christmas for my partner. After 6 days the order send pending. I phoned the shop and they said they'd look into it and phone back. After 30 or 40 minutes I phoned them again and they said they had emailed me to say the bike was not in stock and the line discontinued. Not sure how long this would have remained pending if I hadn't rung but it's a shame they didn't let me know sooner it was not in stock and wouldn't be again.

Found the best price for a Giant stem but took 18 days to despatched. Store shuts 2 days a week, not good for enquiry. Overall lengthy process time for a small item. Not pleased.

Clean website, fairly ease-to-use checkout, free delivery but incredibly slow . When used to the near next-day service provided by CRC, Evans, etc, I wasn't ready for a 2 week delivery time on a simple tool (maybe more - I'm still waiting). Perhaps the addition of an 'out of stock' or '2 week lead time' on the item description would have helped, or at least prepared me for the wait. In the end it was not worth the £2 I saved buying from them over the 'bigger' sites. I won't be using them again.
