Well, i'm normally kind to videogames, and i usually agree with alot of reviews but de Blob has to be the biggest overrated game ever! So the story is that the evil INKY corporation is trying to take over... um... some place, so every one in this 'place' who haven't been captured and enslaved are launching a colour revolution. You play a blob named... believe it or not... Blob! your a blob of paint and you go around painting all of the areas that have been drained of colour, you can change your colour by killing enemies of that colour. So the story is ok, at the most. Now the controls. Swining up with the Wii remote makes Blob jump, whilst holding Z locks on to an enemy or a bounce pad and then striking down with the remote kills the enemy or launches you on the bounce pad.of course it's not as dull as just walking, or should i say rolling, around in one place painting things, you get different levels and different missions throughout the levels. There are 4 sets of Missions. Painting, Race, Combat and Rejuvination. The best of the three in my opinion are the racing ones. For the painting ones you are told to go and paint a set of buildings a certain colour(s). In race missions you have to follow flares in the time limit, whilst in combat you are told to kill a set amount of Inkies without being killed. Then finally in Rejuvination mission you have to get a set number of paint points of a certain colour and rejuvinate a monument by locking on to it, striking it and then shaking the Wii remote and Nunchuk alternatively. The game is ok and kind of good, don't get me wrong it isn't bad, but from all the hype that has been set up about it you would expect more, but then again, seems you can now get it for £9.99 you could do worse.
