‼️CAN EVERYONE PLEASE SHARE THIS STATUS DO NOT BUY BLINDS FROM HILARYS ESPECIALLY IF YOU HAVE CHILDREN!! ‼️I got some blinds fitted by them and the full head rail and blinds fell down missing my little girl who at the time was 18 months by inches if it had of hit her on the head she would of ended up In hospital as the weight of it was so heavy! One big problem from order to potential fitting. I ordered my blinds in May. Was not informed they would be late delivery until 4 wks later. The fitter had my blinds delivered end May and by second wk July had still not contacted me to arrange a fitting date. It took time and many conversations to get my blinds which I had fully paid for 8 wks beforehand. I was told by a friend that she had used Hillary's blinds and was happy. So as unfortunately my last supplier had died suddenly I thought I would give them a go. A rep come fitter came as arranged was very pleasant gave my a price within my budget so I ordered my blinds. I had to pay up front and paid with my Visa card on a small machine that he used to process payment . He asked me to sign so i did and he said I would receive an email next day. I would most certainly not recommend using this company to anyone, as they have had the most appalling and disorganised customer service I have ever experienced. Customer service after sale - terrible. We ordered £4000 worth of blinds for our house. The sales representative arrived and we discussed what we needed and chose blinds. Fitter arrived a few weeks later to measure up. We had requested that the blinds upstairs were fitted to allow half the shutter blinds to fold shut in line with the split in the windows. “Fabulous shutters”

My new shutters for all rooms front of house have just been fitted and they are fabulous. Brilliant white they look classy and expensive. They have been admired by my friends. The whole process was problem free from the quote,through measuring and fitting. I made a few alterations and this was no problem. The fitter did a great job and they look perfect. Service is appalling. I bought electric blinds in 2014. They have NEVER worked. They promised to put it right if I would be patient while they produced new parts for the poorly functioning plastic that holds the wires. They have never returned. The fitter arrived 2hours late. When I called to ask where he was he said he'd moved me to afternoon slot....without telling me! He was quite annoyed when I questioned him about it and said 'well the appointment was made a long time ago' Unbelievable!! I had a similar problem. The fitter broke by mother's oil lamp on first visit and second visit he scratched my chair back. Appalling company. Dont use at any cost. Cost me £6000 to have blinds that have never worked and I am told will break if I do try to use the remote!!

My apt was booked between 12 and 3pm. I admit I arrived back home at 3 minutes past 12 - 3 MINUTES late - to find that the person from Hillary's had been and gone. I phoned straight away to say I was 3 minutes late to be told, the person would not come back (bear in mind my time slot was between 12 and 3...). I find this totally unacceptable.
