General comments: Luke Sullivan, Hey, Whipple, Squeeze This!: A Guide to Creating Great Ads Review: I am in this career for a reason--I love it. I wanted a career where I could wear flip-flops to work, prance around the office wearing a clown nose, and jam out creative ads and concepts with other crazy creatives like myself.

Luke Sullivan is an inspiration. His book cuts through the high flying bull we all get caught up in. This business is harsh and will chew you up and spit you out faster than you can say, "Dude, but I just got hired?"

That's this business. Sullivan's book is fun to read and will put the fire back in the most stuffy worn down advertising folks.

If you disagree, you're not meant for this business and my suggestion is...GET OUT!

If you hate advertising, take a chance on your talents and jump. Jump without a net and try to be the next great novelist, or painter. Great things don't happen to people who are afraid to just jump. Take a chance on yourself, because if you don't, nobody else will.

Sullivan's book is a fast read that's over too soon. I suggest anyone read it no matter what your field.

After hearing Sullivan lecture in Atlanta, a fire had been lit and I was ready to run. I hope this book will do the same for you as it has done for me.

Read on my friend. Read on.
