I ordered a Husqvarna sewing machine and had it delivered within 9 working days. My problem is that with these machines you need to know which number catagory Husqvarna have put them in to to get spare needles, bobbins etc. I have emailed Husqvarna direct using advice from C&C web site. No reply. I have emailed C&C direct over 12 times and got a load of babble in reply. “COMPLETE WASTE OF TIME AND MONEY”

This company basically has NO CUSTOMER SERVICE, the staff are ignorant, and can't even understand the English language. In the 3-4 years I have been with them, I have had 4 non delivery of items, instead of replacing the item, even when in stock, will automatically refund!!! and keep the P&P. When you ask for a supervisor, the same person comes back on and pretends to be someone else, what a joke!! “Rubbish Service”

I ordered the perfect ruler and the Glamorous nights card set. I was emailed to say they had been dispatched (as far as I could ascertain together)the card set arrived but despite the paperwork saying they should both be there the ruler was not in the package. Several emails and a phone call later I am still no further on. “Cancelled Order”

I ordered a Prima paper pad after being text to say it was back in stock. I was a little surprised when the total order including postage came to £17.95. The pad was on sale at other craft shops for £9.95 but was unfortunately out of stock so I went ahead as I really wanted the paper. Any way my money was taken and I awaited my delivery. “Poor order handling and customer service 0871 (10p/min)”

Ordered a sewing machine online, had to wait a few hours before I received a confirmation email with a vague description of delivery times, and no promise of a dispatch date. Called a few days later to find out that it had not been dispatched yet, even though the automated phone enquiry system had given me an expected delivery date for the next day! Cancelled the order after making about £2 worth of phone calls, I hope I don't need to chase the refund! (read more)

“Felt machine ”

is this legal, I bought the felt machine bundle at the POTW price. it arrived and was broken. After hours of trying to get through to customer service i was able to return it and requested a new one. As I found out, the refund they send you does not include the postage you paid to receive the faulty item. If they had replaced it they would have to fork out for postage. If you reorder it at a later date you will pay postage again. False economy for a business I would have thought !!!

When I first received my Ultimate Pro Bonanza Bundle from C & C all the tools were loose, instead of being fitted into their recesses. The cutting guide was bent where it was laid loose across the tools, but as I could flatten it with my hands it didn't occur to me that it would be a problem, so I didn't give it another thought, and used one of the boards to emboss some flowers which were great and made a pretty card. Two orders gone missing one after the other. Customer Services is all automated and it cost 10p per minute. It has cost me a lot of money on top of paying for the goods. After all this and emails I still have no refunds or goods. I was supposed to get a form to claim a refund for one of missing goods, has it arrived NO.I have been looking at consumer web sites to see what I can do. Nothing yet, but this can't be right. I have had a problem with this as well. Customer Services hopeless in helping and eventually advised me that to use the £10 credit the next time I order phone in and the £10 credit will be deducted (despite spending over £50 and expecting the £10 to be deducted from my payment). I found on the internet in the Q & A section that the £10 credit cannot be used on the internet or on phone first. I have read everything I got when I renewed my membership and there is no mention of this. Also I cant remember having this problem last year when I joined.

terrible customer service for 'Members'. Having belonged for one year, it took 3 account numbers and six months to be able to use their website. I only received 3 magazines not 4 and by sending various emails enquiting as to my 4th magazine, I was told that my account had received 4! They should not advertise quarterly magazines if they can not fulfill it, I have had the same argument with them over this, I am beginning to wonder if I should go down the trading standards root over this as it is false advertising. You could try this number, it is normal rate and is based in the UK. Maybe we should email the studio especially when he is on as he is the one that advertises the quarterly magazines. If he knows then he may do something about it as it is his name promoting it.

“Non existant customer service!”

Product arrived and was faulty. Then had to make phone calls to a premium rate line to arrange collection. A £17.00 bill followed. Was literally not allowed to complain so put my complaint in writing not once but twice to the MD No reply my advice dont bother they are not only poor with returns they do not even have the courtesy to reply! There are so many rubbish presenters on C@C most of the time I can't watch the channel. These useless presenters behave as though it is their show, spending the hour doing their utmost to , distract the guests, making it impossible for them to demonstrate. "Egotistical idiots" comes to mind.
Who is managing these loose cannons? Certainly not the Producer, who appears to be encouraging these idiots. Despite customer services appalling there is nobody to challenge.
C@C have captured the crafing market....doesnt mean they have got it right, they are the only ones.... lets see what happens when someone else is successful in starting up a craft tv channel. It will happen, one day!

I just can't believe all the negative reviews here. To me watching the show is like going to a craft fair without the trouble and expense. I have learned so much from the experts. I look at the show schedule and pick the programmes I am interested in and settle down with something to do and the remote control. At 9.19 this morning friday my parcel arrived, outer box in perfect condition & inside my machine & all the extras, the delivery man was also very nice too. “IGNORANCE IS NOT SERVICE!”

I placed my first order with Create and Craft. They sent the wrong item but still deducted postage when they made the refund. There was no apology for not being able to supply what I ordered and they now IGNORE all my e-mails to try to recover the postage involved. According to Consumer Direct they are in breach of contract, using either the Sale of Goods Act or Conract Law, but they are so ignorant they do not reply to my e-mails. It doesn't surprise me. I had similar experience: wrong item, made to take item to collection point and told I had to pay for the return, I did not get the two postage costs refunded, expensive phone calls, no apology, only standard emails to say they will get in touch again and again.
Not buying from CreateandCraft now, I get cheaper prices for same products, cheaper P&P, and infinitely better after sales customer service.

In fairness I have to say that they have now agreed to refund the postage, but it has taken so much time and effort on my part that I do not want to deal with them ever again. I am sure that if I had not persisted in bothering them with e-mails, then they would not have made this refund. Why should we, the customers, have to make all this effort just to have things done properly.

Well, you have had more luck than I had. My phone calls alone cost more than the costs of the postage. Also I wasn't willing to waste time chasing.
Watch out also, if you have joined as a member, that they don't automatically renew your membership and debit your account when the membership ends.
They are more driven by sales and increasing the size of their membership than service - Quantity rather than Quality..
Using other suppliers now, I save money, and get better and more personal service. I am all in support of smaller businesses too.

No! I do not work for create & craft. I am just a crafter who has never had bad service or aftercare from these people. I only say it as I see it. If you've not had the same, well sorry not my experience! I have been a customer now for over 5 years, maybe the fact that I live in the back of beyond..... a little fishing village in the NE of Scotland means that the postal service I get is a bit less frustrating than living in a city. Create and craft is so dreadful, it's not so much the goods that they desperately try to sell, but the poor quality of the so called presenters that makes me mad! Their poor use of grammar and the ill prepared manner in which they demonstrate craft goods it so bad. We were garenteed delivery before Christmast after two telephone calls costing 10p a minute we tracked the parcel as suggested on the internet, only to find that the item had arrived at the distribution point for our area on Tuesday 18th December. I ordered a TOYOTA oekaki sewing machine, it arrived in a damaged box that had been badly re sealed with Sellotape. After opening, it was clear to see that I had been sent a 'returned' machine. I have joined Create and Craft twice now. I didn't renew my memembership immediately because of tardy and missing deliveries and the terrible waste of time and money making contact. You might be interested to know that Ireceived a parcel a couple of days ago. I saw courier turn into driveway. Before i could get to front door, he had dumped parcel in my porch, in full view of anyone passing by and was back down the drive. He made no attempt to ring or knock. Parcel was worth £150!! “Love it!”

I have received excellent service, and now there are more shows that are not just about printing out and sticking on paper bits. Love the crochet and tassel stuff and really enjoyed the polymer clay beading. I think some people just love a moan, but whenever I have had a problem, CnC have always fixed it straight away. Julia is so full of life she needed a presenter to bounce off and that I'm afraid is not Dawn Bibby. Also please get her to speak proper English. I made an order and it was only when I received the confirmation that I realised my club discount hadn't been given. After 16 minutes on the phone the staff member confimed that the order had been cancelled. Today I received a despatch notice for the cancelled order!!! It is for over £100 and they have charged me. I have been a member of C&C for 2 non consecutive yrs. Even after the 10% members' discount their prices are expensive. I have probably ordered no more than a dozen times. 1) Once there was a very good offer, I ordered and I bulked up the order so that the P&P per item goes down. My C & C Membership ran out but I received a letter from them saying it would be renewed automatically. However, when I tried to log in I couldn't so assumed it hadn't been renewed after all. I wanted to order a lot of crafting stuf and it was Bank Holiday double discount weekend. I got fed up with ringing customer services because it takes up to 30 minutes to get through to them, so i emailed them. I have no reply and have now e-mailed them 3 times with a simple request. i they havven' t renewed my membership I will renew it on-line but I i didn't want to renew it in case they reducted the £20 twice.Simple enough question. They still haven't responded and the time has gone to buy the goodies I wanted to buy over the Bank Holiday. I'm now hoping they haven't renewed my membeship because from this and past experience they have the worst customer services I have ever experienced. I'd rather shop elsewhere, even though I do enjoy watching C & C on TV. Pity their customer services is so appalling as they are losing a lot of customers because of it.

Great British Craft Festival - what a disgrace oversold tickets to this show people were falling ill all over the place how can a National TV shopping company get involved with such a dangerously organised event. have ordered previously but decided to become a member could not undertand what he was talking about. Gave me customer ID could not order online so tried requesting new password no luck after 8 attempts. Phone customer serivce again this morning still cold not understand and no help whatsoever as trying to get me up and running - do they want my custom or what the programme is good to watch but thats about it. what a terrible show have been to craft shows all over the country and never have i been to one so disorgaised as this the tickets were oversold ,people passing out having to e treated by the ambulance service people with tickets not been allowed in people being told to leave when they had bought goods then being asked to hand thier tickets in to be re sold are you mad we lasted 1hr 30 mins and left couldn't cope any more no food unless you went to burger van toilet was worse than a cow... “Incorrect order sent”

I have just received my multibuy order of 3 Ethel and Murray stamps. However, I was only sent 2 of the 3 plus a golfing one from a different multibuy. Now I have the hassel of returning the complete order, battling to get my P&P refunded also, as why should I be out of pocket due to their error? or request a replacement, which will not be available by the time all this has been resolved. “Disgusting service and useless customer service”

Like previous customers I to have only given 1 star as I couldnt give no stars at all, they dont even deserve the one star I have given them. On May the 14th I ordered 2 12 x 12 cutting mats for a cricut machine. A week later 2 6 x 12 cutting mats arrived. So I attempted to ring customer services. “RUBBISH CUSTOMER SERVICE”

I have been a C&C member for a number of years now and have bought many items. I've never really had issues with deliveries but the customer services is a whole different story. Firstly you have to phone 0871*** number, this usually takes anything from 12-18 minutes before the phone is even answered. Then you get the Indian call centre where the people are polite but difficult to hear as the line is so bad and then you have to keep repeating yourself as the person at the other end doesn't... update on my comment RUBBISH CUSTOMER SERVICE left 11/7/2012. Well I sent my letter first class which Ideal World should have received by now. Although I have not had even a courtesy call to acknowlege this. But today I got my telephone bill and the cost of 4 calls to the customer services has cost me £7.29 + VAT = £8.75. I have now printed a copy and shall be sending this to them also and asking for a refund. As the item is faulty I don't see why I should incur any costs what so ever. It would have cost me less if I had sent the Grand Calibur back myself and they would have had it 3 weeks ago....

update and result.
Following on letter sending and over priced phone bill... After searching many forums and discussions I finally found another contact name for C&C customer services in Peterborough, a gentleman by the name of (name removed), I emailed him and asked him to contact me. He did call me back that day but unfortunately I couldn't take his call as I was at work. So I emailed again with a copy of the letter I had sent and a copy of the phone bill. I haven't been able to speak with (name removed) personally but in the post today I received a letter saying that I had been credited to my card the full amount that I had originally paid for the GC. I was not expecting that at all. I would have been happy with just a straight replacement but this more than covers any expense and inconvenience caused. For anyone having problems with C&C I would recommend contacting them direct and not using the customer service number as this is too expensive. You can email (name removed) or call 01733 316302 as he is the Customer Services Manager I just need to decide now whether or not to buy another Grand Calibur?

I must say at the outset that I have given one star because it is a required element,I would prefer to give no stars! I have ordered items which appear in the basket, but when I checkout and use my login do not appear. This happened 6 times yesterday. I have ordered free monthly gift which arrived twice and no response from customer service. I have waited a month for a delivery of pinflair glue. I have received parts of orders and have had problems getting an answer from Indian call centre. I for my sins have been a club member for over 2.5 years and am wondering why. Deliveries either turn up late or dont turn up at all. Every time I order card from them I only receive every other order and have to fight for a postage refund. I have no problem paying postage for stuff I receive even though it is expensive but I refuse to pay for non delivered stuff. my order of tiddlypom white wool came on time but when phoning to order more NOT AVAILABLE then I contacted Habico ltd who said they have none as you bought all their stock, so now what am I to do as I cant finish the baby blanket which was a present for my granddaughter.It seems wool shops dont stock it either so whats the point you should have made allowances for customers needing more Ive learnt my lesson not to buy from you again (read more)

“My experience has been different”

I note all the reviews that aer criticising C&C however my own personal experience has been good. All my deliveries have arrived within a reasonable time so perhaps I am just lucky. I do however agree that their customer services are absolutely dire as I do read other blogs about it. Once their customer services are fully restored in the UK from India I think there will be a noteable improvement and this should happen by the end of this year. “deliveries”

Over the last few months i have nothing but problems with C&C late deliveries non deliveries overcharging and taking 14 days to reimburse, i'm still awaiting £29 from 16/2/2012. make sure you can afford to wait for items as to have to buy elswhere means paying out twice.£150 spent waited 10 days then 50% of goods damaged in transit a regular occurence. Being severly disabled i have to internet shop and C&C is the company i have to complain to. (read more)
