I went to have a look around yesterday, it was only the second shop I'd looked in and I ended up finding the perfect wedding dress! The girls are amazing, very honest and very helpful! This was my first time in a wedding dress shop & trying on dresses. I was so scared. The lady who dealt with me was asoultely fab. She was amazing. She helped pick out dresses I never would pick out. Made me feel at ease and no pressure in purchasing any of the dresses. Went with my daughter to choose her dress on Feb 11th. She was brilliant. My daughter tried on a few dresses and then she suggested ones which might suit her (they all did!) - there was no pressure to buy, we didn't feel rushed even when the shop started to get a bit busy. We must have been there a couple of hours and eventually came away with a gorgeous dress which my daughter fell in love with. She looked stunning in it. Would recommend this shop to anyone. I wrote a rave review on here before about this store because when I visited in October they were wonderful. However, we went back today and the staff just could not be bothered. At all. I'd gone in planning on buying the dress and getting favours, tiara, etc but left completely disheartened by how poor the staff were today. I am sorry to hear you were disappointed with the service you received on your visit to The Wedding Collection. We get many brides who shop 2 years in advance for their weddings but what we do find is as we are a clearance store we only have one of each dress and we see it daily when brides try on a dress, fall in love with it and when they come back its gone and we can't get another one! We also have lots of dresses returned as brides change there mind or have lost weight and it can't be altered. So to get an idea of style is quite hard as our styles change weekly which is normally explained to brides when they come to try on. I do hope your fiancée comes in again when she is ready to have a proper try on so she can have the wedding experience every bride deserves.

I am very sorry and shocked to be reading this review as I do remember you coming in the store. If my memory is correct you tried a dress on and showed me a picture of another wedding dress you had tried on else where? I did explain to you that we were due to get a very similar dress shortly and I was trying to find a picture for you and a price. I went on the internet and phoned the company twice and was waiting for a reply. Not once did I dismiss the other dresses but you seemed very keen on the one you had already seen and I knew stock was due in. Whilst i was trying to find the picture, you came out of the changing room and said you would go for a coffee as we were busy and come back to give me chance to find it for you. By getting re dressed I assumed you weren't interested in the other ones and that was why you showed me a picture? All the staff try really hard in the shop and its very disappointing when we read bad reviews when we have tried to source something to suit your needs. I am sorry and also disappointed that you feel that way and its a shame you didn't come back like you said you would after all the efforts to find a similar dress. The dresses you picked still had the tags on and if you had said at any point you wanted to try all of them on then I would have been more than happy to get them for you. I thought I was being helpful trying to find you a similar dress to the one you really liked and it would have been better to have spoken to me about it rather than putting a disappointing review when you enjoyed your experience last time. The cardigans were explained to you that we could order them but the other girl did say she would go upstairs and check but was also with another customer and you left before she had chance so again my apologies.
