    Good Points: The Circle Hawaii Cruise on Holland America's MS Zaandam has become a favorite for us. We are booked on our 3rd cruise to Hawaii this month. The days at sea are very relaxing and it is a joy to see the Hawaiian Islands as part of this vacation. We are thrilled with Maui and the Big Island and will be seeing Kauai for the first time this year. Shore excursions are wonderful, depending on your budget the helicopter tours of the volcano are quite an adventure. I highly recommend the Kilauea Summit Adventure, it is breathtaking.


    Bad Points: Honolulu is exotic and fun for the most part, but the traffic to get just about anywhere other than the dock is like being in Los Angeles. But, book an organized tour / shore excursion for the biggest benefit and most fun.


    General comments: Holland America is the best value and the most dedicated to customer service. Their homepage advertises "Wishes being granted even before they are spoken" is absolutely true. If you want a pure luxury experience in a cruise line, Holland America and the MS Zaandam are second to none. See you onboard! I'll be with several who walk the lower promenade deck every morning.
