The Black Watch it's self is in need of the "wow factor" but the staff and the food can't be faulted which made it very enjoyable, it need's to keep the the traditional way's formal dinning and respect for the customers. Just the cabins are tierd looking and realy need refitting to modern standards. Food was good but strange meal choices. Itinerary was turned on its head. Some cabins weren't cleaned until late afternoon.

Many of the public areas are smoking eg. If you want to participate in quizes you have to sit in a smoking bar. The food was no better than average. It was quite simple and must have been done to a tight budget (as is everything onboard). There is no wow factor to the ship as the public areas feel claustrophobic. Their system of organisation is poor as we were left an hour and a half to get off on tender due to an over organised ticket system.
