    Bad Points: None.

General comments: The B&W DM602 S3 have great sound and performance, and are stylish looking speakers.

Overall I think these are a great pair of floor speakers, ideal for any medium sized room.

This speaker cannot be ranged as budget, rather as middle class for 2way. Even though, in market are 2way speakers which, cost more than 5k but 602 S3 has about 90% of their sound.

I have heard and owned many loudspeakers in the last 45 years, including hi-end and studio monitors. Having just connected the 602s3's to a new Onkyo TX901 and fed by an Onkyo DV HD805, I can now say they are right up there with the best I have heard - regardless of price! I should add that I have added a 3ohm resistor to the tweeter which not only smooths that very slight exuberance but also generally rounds off the sound perfectly! Voices, vocals, pianos, violins, trumpets, drum kits and bass ...

The B&W DM602 S3's are great speakers, and paired with the DM600, you cannot go wrong. I own several high end speakers but this sounded as good as the 8k studio speakers

The B&W DM602 S3 is an incredible speaker for the money. If you did not have a better to compare with you would not notice the bad points.

Apart from looking the part, these speakers sound the part. They sound just as good, if not better than a floorstander, and yet they are half the size and price. I use these also for front speakers for my cinema surround sound, and hearing King Kong roar from the B&W DM602 S3 speakers will give you nightmares. And your neighbours.

B&W DM602 S3 - For the money ($540) these are by far the best sounding speakers I have heard. My setup is a Rotel rx-1072 receiver ($850), and Marantz 5001 CD player ($300). Monster bi-wire speaker cables ($150), and Monster interconnects ($80).

I listen to mostly classical music, vocals, jazz and guitar, and some pop music. Since the frequency response drops off quite a bit under 50Hz, if you listen to a lot of club dance music or something requiring heavy bass, or if this is in a home thea ...

The B&W DM602 S3 speakers have changed the way I spend my leisure time! Television has taken a serious back seat to the time we spend simply listening to music. While shopping for speakers ranging in price from $300 to the $1000 level I kept coming back to listen to the 602s. The only speakers I found to be superior to these speakers were the B&Ws that cost about $1200 each. They sounded a little more full due to the additional base they produced. After owning the 602s for a year I added a 10" ...

I have listened to music for the last 25 years, and I have used a lot of different brands of speakers. I used to listen from hard rock to asian classic music. In the last 4-5 years, I love to listen to semi-classic, in which vocal is prominent.... so after a long struggle I found B&W speakers, other than 602-S3, but since than I have stuck with this brand. About 6 months back I purchased B&W 602-S3 in black Ash finish, and since then I have decided to keep these for eternity.

    At these pri ...

The B&W DM602 S3 have been excellent so far, can't be matched for price. I had a broad budget and compared to £600 b&w floorstanders and found these to be more consistant and handled better tighter bass.

B&W's DM602 S3 are excellent, I'm running these bad boys bi-amped on two Cambridge Audio azur 640a amps, and they sound sweet definitely the best thing I have heard and I have heard set-ups worth tens of thousands of pounds.

Very Good all round speakers. Good Low Bass and superb midrange. The B&W DM602 S3 have good volume and look great. With the covers off the yellow kevlar cone looks great.

I have listend to many speakers in this range and even some Mordan Short floor standing's but they do not perform as well as the 602's.

The Flowport adds great bass and is located on the front to allow the air to be directed out. Not on the back as some bad design speakers have.

A must buy, they make great speakers fo ...

    Size does matter, but I don't know of a better sound/$ ratio than these B&W DM602 S3.

If you aren't bothered by the big, black (well...Mine are), brutes' appearance,
then they are a must audition product. I've heard from a couple of sources
that the treble from the metal dome tweeter can occasionally verge into
harshness. But i've encountered no such problems in my system (using Arcam
Amp and CD). The bass is tight and plentiful, but not excessive. It doesn't
'boom' like a lot of floorstanding designs i've listened to. Ready and willing
for bi-wiring, and better for it ...

I've bought these speakers a while ago in combination with some new nad electronics. They are good speakers producing accurate sound over a wide frequency range. especially the low frequency performance is very impressive for a speaker this price and size. accurate, fast and makes you move. However, on some of my recordings the higher frequencies can sound a bit harsh. i think this is due to the fact my equipment delivers the music in a very analytical manner. Perhaps its not the ideal combinati ...

Im happy about my B&W 602s3. I really like a clear and crisp sound. These speaker sounds like heaven on acustic music and vocals. You can hear the breath. But ive heard B&W in 4000$ and they ar of course even clearer and goes at bit deeper. But for a budget speaker this is a lot of "sound-a-like"...

These speakers are simply sensational they will play any music from kosheen at high levels to charlotte church in an orchestra. All just for £300 i think B&W have gone mad. I don't think personally you will find a rival at that price that will match their wide ranging dynamics or low frequency performance. Plus there all round sonic exellence. But remember these speakers need to be run in they can't just be wired up and tested for their astonishing bass levels you have to give them time. O ...

Let me begin this user review of the B&W 602-S3 by stating the facts. I have owned several mid to high end bookshelf loudspeakers over the years, with much satisfaction from several other MFG's, but found myself once again returning to a MFG whom always deleivers the good! especially for the budget minded music & audio lover. The DM602-S3 has surpassed all my expectations of a high end entry level bookshelf speaker. The DM602-S3 is a well resolved, yet muscle bound reproducer of music. The bass ...

These DM602 S3 speakers from B & W are simply fantastic. They are amazingly clear. My experience of them has been one worthy of making me listen to 60% of my CD collection again through the new speakers (and that's about 130 cds!).

I didn't think my music could sound this good. Provided you have a decent source feeding the speakers, you can place instruments in a band and pick out the minutest of detail such as strum pattern even when the band is really going for it.

    This is possibly the ...
