This is Simac Il Gelataio GC 5000 is an excellent ice cream maker with built in refrigeration which means you can simply plug in and end up with great ice cream in about 25 minutes. I have had a £300 Gelatio machine before (Magimix I think) and this machine which retails on line at £189 or on eBay (new) at £130-ish, is every bit as good. Steel bowl, strong paddles (if you over-run the freezing cheaper ones will break - the Magimix's did), good build quality, useful recipe book. As they... (read more)
