flymo quicksilver has a wide cut , big box and a good, easy starting Briggs engine but the skirt clearance is poorly designed, it is fine on level ground but it catches on uneven ground, lifting the rear wheels and losing the drive . The cut-height levers are poor , flimsy and unreliable. Pity, as it is basically a solid machine otherwise. The faults are annoying, making it unpleasant to use. I won't be buying another of these.

Drive broken (clutch perhaps?) so no longer self propells and its only just over 1 year old!. Does not cut very low either. I would not buy same make again. i guess i have to buy a new petrol mower now as i dont think a repair is worth while on a machine that i have never been realy happy with anyway!
