    Good Points: Well built.
    Stunning picture quality.
    Good looks/styling.


    Bad Points: The layout/positioning of a few of the remote control buttons.


    General comments: Very pleased with my recent purchase. This Sony tv is a pleasure to watch with its vibrant colours

    Sony KDL40W4000. Fantastic colour and sound. Easy to use and set up. Great for gaming and HD DVDs.
    Would highly recommend this TV.

    I have my Sony KDL40W4000 connected to Cable by scart lead, a Sony DVD/HD recorder by HDMI and my original Pioneer DVD/HD recorder by Scart. This gives me 3 Freeviews and Cable TV with the option to record Cable and 1 Freeview or 2 Freeviews at same time. Freeview from TV may not be quite as good as from Sony DVD/HD recorder although ariel is the same?, but still very good, maybe imagination. Live in very good Freeview reception area 100% signal strength. Also intend to connect Sony 1080p Blue R ...
