Good Points: cheap guide easy to read
Bad Points: focus on psychological aspects
General comments: Kenneth Blanchard,Spencer Johnson, The One Minute Manager (One Minute Manager S.) gives a comprehensive insight into real life management situations. This is an easy to read book giving advice on practical techniques but also shows results from behavioural studies as to why certain techniques are likely to work. For managers out there that believe that people are the most important resource then this is the book for you but I wouldn't recommend that you use this book alone in your approach to management as there are many different approaches to people management. A combination of many is likely to be the best solution.
