“Bad,bad, bad company”

I purchased a washing machine from them two years ago and also a 5 year guarantee. The washing machine got louder and louder and eventually the ballbearings went. Tried to claim on my 5 year guarnatee only to be told that I didnt purchase one. After faxing them a copy of my agreement they miraculously found it. The engineer came and said the problem could be fixed but could take several days awaiting on parts only to be told by customer service that the machine was unrepairable but they... (read more)

Never buy from them again!

Poor quality products.

Waited for 3 months on a small repair but the excuse is still waiting for parts!

I'm giving up.

Had both of these built in items for less than 2 years both out of order, fridge door wont stay closed, and washer machine stopped working. Independent engineer out to look at both said if I can afford it replace them as not reliable brand. (read more)

having taken advice from our kithcen company to purchase all our integrated appliances from cda we have now realised it was the worst mistake we have ever made very poor quality BUILD,SEVERAL faults on different appliances including cracking of plastics in fridge and hinges on appliance doors going FAULTY. five year guarantee not worth the paper it is written ON. and if you need to purchase anything from them ie hinges for integrated door £120 and £66 for plastic bottle holder for the... This machine is pathetic,set your wash and spin speed which i set at 1100 rpm at the end of the programme the spin hs reduced to 800rpm leaving heavier items,ex towels dripping,set to spin only programme at 1100rpm it finishes at 800 rpm absolute rubbish,wish id never had it,would certainly never buy cda again. john fletcher derby (read more)

I have had this washing machineC1330/Serial number 090907813 for a matter of weeks and wondered why the spin cycle was not very efficient. On several occasions I had a power failure, but thought nothing of it and re-set the trip switch on the circuit. We bought a C1340 integrated washing machine two months ago as part of a kitchen refit. We have probably used it 15 times maximum and it no longer works.It has taken over a week to obtain any sort of assistance from the customer services phone line.Once CDA agreed to fix the problem, we then had to wait for parts (!) to be ordered only to be then told that the engineer was on holiday for the next week. We purchased SEVEN appliances from CDA for a new Kitchen. YOU NEED TO AVOID ANY CDA PRODUCT LIKE THE PLAGUE. In two months we have had replacement parts for the oven(DC 730) and we are fighting a brick wall TO HAVE THE WASHING MACHINE (C1340)REPLACED. It has refused to work twice and we have to accept a second repair (because of the brick wall)CDA staff on telephones are regimented robots. Sorry to disagree, but i have several products from CDA and all are spot on, customer service has been first class and everyone has been more than helpful. Highly recommended product.

AVOID ALL CDA PRODUCTS LIKE THE PLAGUE, CUSTOMER SERVICE IS AN ABSOLUTE DISGRACE, THEY SAY YOU GET A 5 YEAR GUARANTEE BUT IT IS NOT WORTH THE PAPER IT IS WRITTEN ON AS THERE ARE SO MANY GET OUT CLAUSES. WE WERE LUCKY WE MANAGED TO GET 1 MONTH OUT OF OUR WASHING MACHINE BEFORE IT PACKED IN ONLY TO BE TOLD THAT IT IS NOT COVERED UNDER THE GUARANTEE. My joiner and I were dismayed to find my CDA CI330 did not meet the measurements stated on the company literature. On calling the company to discuss further I was informed by customer services that we must have made the mistake! We ended up having to cut out plasterboard to replace a machine supposed to be the same dimensions as our previous w/m. Now we have brick next to w/m so loud and shuddery, noisy built in experience.
