Personally, I would not choose to fly with Air 2000 (First Choice) again. I think the service is pretty poor, their planes are old and certainly do not have any leg room. Let's just say, we could never travel economy again after upgrading on first choice. The flight attendants were polite. The cherry on top of the cake (pun intended) had to be the food, a spilling over the menu, we were served a feast of tender meats (yes, they do have vegetarian meals) and just pure yummyness really. After booking a holiday through First Choice we flew Air 2000 and arrived at manchester airport on 6th of March at 7.30 am for a flight to Gran Canaria at 10.15am, only to be told our flight was 7.30 hours late and we would be taking off at 17.40 which turned out to be 18.00 hours. The rest of the day no one could be contacted from first Choice and the service just said they had no information. We flew with Air 2000 on our way to Corfu for a relaxing holiday. The Airline was a very bad choice, as I think they took the route of going over storms just to frighten the passengers. The food was going everywhere, and once we got out of the storm, the staff wouldn't even come and clean it up. I didn't dare go to the toilets in case we hit another storm, so I don't know whether they were clean or not. I flew from Manchester to Las Palmas on an Air 2000 Boeing 767. Outbound flight code AMM188C. Checked in at Manchester 2 and a half hours before take off, everything went smoothly. Our flight was supposed to depart at 7:45am and we was asked to board at gate 215 at 6:45am. We took off at 7:20. The aircraft was quite old and it seemed that it was struggling to get off the ground during take off. February 2004 Air 2000 'ticketless' flight booked online. Manchester to Alicante / Alicante to Manchester. Booked many months in advance - quite a good saving, although still well over £600 for three adults and a child. Air 2000 e-mail you the full details, you print it out, and then take it to the check in desk on day of travel - simple as that! The flight with Air 2000 was brilliant. Had excellent seats and the staff could not be more friendly.
The food was delicious, not very often on a charter flight!!
Take was on time and early on return. Duty Free was good, although limited when you are flying to Menorca and back.

We upgraded our seats with Air 2000 to fly to Goa as we had previously flown there in seats with a pitch 0f 29" (Monarch Airlines), that was absolutely torture, so decided to pay £200+ per person for upgrades. On checking in at Gatwick there was only one Premium Cabin check in desk, we waited for 30 mins to be checked in but there was a problem with the group in front of us so eventually had to check in at an ordinary desk, very disappointing.

We went to Malaga with Air 2000 and overall the plane was clean and the staff were friendly. The check-in queues were all right in length but as there were so many of us we could check in at the premier desk. There wasn't much leg room, the food wasn't great and I noticed the plane was quite loud during take off though it quietened down afterwards, but what more can you expect from such a cheap airline? I flew to Antigua with Air 2000 in September 2002 The flight only had a 30 minute delay which was expected after reviews! Air 2000 seemed to be very similar to other charter airlines which are all sub standard to scheduled. My partner and I each paid £250 for the upgraded seats to premium economy. We were both very disappointed in this. My family and I recently flew with Air 2000 from Manchester to Tenerife. Everything from the word go went so smoothly. The check in queue went down quickly, staff were helpful and the plane left on time.
We had a fab holiday and we were very sad about leaving. When we had to go home we arrived at the airport 2 hours early as required, as did everybody else. We flew with Air 2000 to Reus (Costa Dorada) as part of a package holiday earlier this year and I have nothing but praise for the airline. Check in was straightforward at Manchester and we didn't have any delays. Baggage collection at Reus was relatively pain free.
