    Good Points: Great for house hunters like me.


    Bad Points: Maybe in time people could be removed.


    General comments: I really like the new street view on Google. I'm a pedestrian and only recently moved areas so I find it brilliant when arranging to meet people. I can check what the resturant or bar looks like and what surrounding areas look like so I don't spend ages wandering about looking like an idiot.Plus I'm house hunting so to see what the area actually looks like is great. I can really see what a possible walk to work would be like. I can understand people being a little worried about privacy but to be honest if I wanted I could walk ouside most homes or offices and see what they look like in person. As long as secure areas are protected them I think this is one of Google's best advances yet.

    I can see the good points of Google Street view - for example it's brilliant if you have forgotton the name of a restaurant or a shop, but you know where it is. It's also great when you are looking for directions to places, it helps so much to see what your surroundings look like! There are millions of other uses i can think of too (and it's quite exciting to go on and just look for your own house). However i can also see some negatives.     This blows google earth out of the water. Google Street View is a brilliant addition to Google Maps!The image quality is excellent. Even when you zoom in, street view still keeps the image quality. It's really useful if you want to choose a restaurant or bar that you haven't been to before. you can check it out using street view to make sure it's not a complete dive.The only down side is that google street view can be a little slow especially when you are arrowing up and down the street.     Google Street map is awesome, you can spend hours looking at random things and places or you can use to find hotels, shops, homes etc and see what they look like, as opposed to google maps where you can only get an birds eye view of whatever you are looking for.Google Street currently only has 25 cities but more will be available at a later date.This is a great programme that has so many uses. Well done google.

    Google Street View is the new Google Maps feature where users can see a street view as if they are actually stood in the street itself. The images are photo-realistic and can is most cases be rotated, giving users an accurate, realistic view of streets.
    With just parts of the US currently available, Google are expected to be trying for global coverage as soon as possible.
