    Good Points: Moderately priced machine that is easy to use and works well. Filter very easy to keep clean.


    Bad Points: Energy consumption higher than the new generation of machines costing twice as much.


    General comments: As a normal vented machine, the JLDV08 does not get the highest of energy consumption ratings, but it is better than most of the condensing types and, if the published figures are to be believed, is more modest in its consumption than many of the vented models. Considerably cheaper to purchase than the so-called 'intelligent' driers.Very easy to install in terms of lining-up where the vent hole has to be made (3 possibilities " either side and at the rear) and once installed, seems to work well, not particularly noisy, easy to use with logically named controls, and seems well made.
