I ordered my bridesmaids dresses from Berketex bride for my expected wedding date of 9th January 2013. I rang Berketex bride on the 7th and 14th of December but they didn't have any information about my dresses. They said they had never let a bride down and they would be here the week of my wedding. “My daughter's wedding dress looked beautiful ”

My daughter is now married and we are looking at the photographs from her wedding day, her wedding dress looks amazing and would like to thank all the girls at Berketex Arndale for their help. We spent about two hours choosing the dress, but got lots of advise and recomendations from Lana who was showing us the dresses. I recently purchase my wedding dress from Berketex Bride in the Arndale. I was pleasently supprised at the choice of dresses and the friendly atmosphere and advise given by the sales consultant. Even though the shop is very warm and I did get quite hot trying on the dresses, I had a really good time and choose a beautiful dress which made my mum and me cry !!! I even ended up with a veil and tiara which I thought would never happen. Definetely going back with my bridesmaids in a few months... (read more)

As a mature bride I was to say the least a little aprehensive about trying on wedding dresses and felt overwelmed by all the different styles. However after going into Berketex Bridal shop in the Arndale and speaking to one of the sales consultants I decided to try on some dresses. Bought my wedding dress from here back in the summer. Initially a little worried as it was a short order and would therefore only be here shortly before the wedding. They warned me it may actually be the same week as the wedding. Huge grin then when they rang up and said my gown was ready nearly 10 days before I was expecting it! Whilst I haven't been to every bridal store in Manchester I have been to far too many! I wish I had found this place earlier. Tucked away in the Arndale a real gem. Loads of dresses, the sales lady spent what seemed like forever with me (although I suspect it would be busier on a Saturday), tried on all sorts of styles and some really surprised me so keep an open mind. I went to Berketex in Manchester Arndale in February with two of my bridesmaids to try on dresses. The second dress I tried on I fell in love with and whilst it was £600 over my budget I felt this was ‘the one’. Obviously me being a good size 18 with a G cup bra this size 14 sample that I tried on was made to fit on me by the very experienced Lana. I went into Berketex Brides just for some ideas as my wedding was not for another 18 months, but after talking to a sales assistant I booked an appointment to try on dresses. When I went for the appointment the assistant was very knowledgeable and explained different styles and what would suit me. I then tried on 5 wedding dresses and found my dream dress. I felt relieved that I had found my dress and will be going back for my shoes and bridesmaid dresses. I would highly recommend Arndale... (read more)

DO NOT BUY YOUR DRESS FROM HERE! I purchased 2 bridesmaid dresses as well as my wedding gown, big mistake! They got every part of the order wrong. Complaints have been made and they have not even acknoweldge these complaints and I am still waiting for a refund for a hair comb which was the wrong one, from October. They have excellent customer service until you sign the order form then if you have any problems it is not there fault and they do nothing to help you! I stood in tears and the... (read more)

It is very difficult to comment on individual cases especially without understanding all of the circumstances involved. All the same, we are genuinely disheartened to find your experience with Berketex Bride was not to your satisfaction.

I visited a couple of stores before I came to Berketex and didn't have a very nice experience with sales staff. When I got to Berketex everyone was really warm and friendly and so helpful with looking for styles that suited me within my budget! Mum and I left with smiles on our faces and I would be happy to reccomend it to anyone! (read more)

Just read comments on Berketex and I went to the one in Manchester and ordered my dress. I had a great afternoon and the only faults were the ones listed above.

Wedding is very soon (October) so I am obviously concerned that I won't get my dress in time now. I was told exactly how much my dress would cost to be altered and how long it would take. Although, I did have a good experience in the shop, I'll have to let you know about after sales service! (read more)
