Good Points: Well constructed, highly durable rule and accurate (class 2). Grip on inside tip performs well.

Bad Points: Expensive. Obscured measurements on first 15mm.

General comments: I have the 3m and 10m versions of this Stabila BMT3 Pocket Tape. They have outlasted any other tape measure I have bought. Their accuracy is good - especially since this their main function (other manufacturers take note). The tip machining and riveting is also accurate and enables the tip to slide, allowing for the thickness of the tip material, when taking internal and external measurements (other manufacturers also take note).They do not retain the rigidity in the blade as well as some other makes, but the accuracy more than makes up for this. I would not use them on site work, generally, as they are expensive to replace if lost. I do use them frequently in my workshop, however, and they perform well.One caveat to this is the first 15mm (incl. most other tape measures); the tip fouls the markings here and it is easy to mis-read. I wish Stabila would have addressed this, because I would have given this tape measure a perfect score.
