Good Points: Friendly staffGood discount especially if you can introduce a friend to also have the treatmentQuick procedure

Bad Points: On the day of the surgery, the consultanat told me that i would be better suited to a different type of laser treatment called, lasek. This was very distressing as i had prepared myself psychologically and felt that this last minute advice should have been given at the initial consultation. I decieded to go with my initial plans and am happy with the results so far.

General comments: Had Lasik with intralase last week. I was very afraid and had consultations at optimax and ultralase as well. I decided to go with Optical Express beacuse i felt the most comfortable with the staff. Initially i did a lot of research on the risks of laser eye surgery (really helpful site: http://www.youreyeguide.co.uk ) because i am a driving test examiner and eye sight is obviously really important.

£1200 for treatment to one eye; hopefuly drive without glasses.
Actually get a perfect reading facility in the treated eye; useless at distance. Eight months later they are still telling me they've given me perfect vision. So why do I see TWO numberplates on a car at thirty yards. Eventually they agree to a re-treat, but it makes no differance and now they don't seem too happy to talk to me.
