$90 an hour, 2 hours,small house, 2 young cleaning ladies added up to very poor cleaning. Dusting was hit or miss, when they mopped they missed the same stuff on the floor that the vacuum didn't get. We used Molly Maid Chelmsford for an end of tenancy clean and it was an awful experience; despite clarifying in person and in writing that the clean needed to start at a certain time and be completed by a certain time, ahead of check-out and handing keys back, no-one showed up at the agreed time. “Truly dreadful customer service.”

I booked the Spring Clean service for the day I moved from my house. A deposit was paid with the clear understanding that notice of 48 hours was required if the arranged date had to change. I telephoned the Leicester branch and spoke to the owner when this became necessary. I was told that no one would be available to clean my house for 4 weeks. “Dreadful service, definitely NOT recommended”

Promised a deep clean to include kitchen cupboards, skirting boards etc. I didn't even receive a basic clean and paid £150 cash! The franchise owner 'inspected' one room when cleaners had finished and deemed it acceptable. I don't know where to start, in room she inspected, curtain was hanging off pole, table was sticky and floor not swept or washed. Upstairs I couldn't tell whether rooms had been done or not. “Poor customer service”

The franchise owner from the Guildford area visited my home on 25th April with a view to providing me with a cleaning quote. And that's the last I heard from them, despite me chasing and re-chasing! I have contacted head office and was told someone would come back to me. I have sent online enquiries via their website. This company is disgusting I'm shocked it's still running staff are horrible and rude cleaners are rubbish might as well get a pig to clean your house would probably do a better job! Office staff are rude and don't listen to what you say workers are cruel to each other no staff seem valued as they are always changing! The owner is very rude abusive and horrible lady! “Seven year review”

I have had Molly Maid working for me for seven years. I have managed to keep the same two cleaners and they do an excellent job. We have become good friends and they have given me good advice on cleaning problems. While they have been working for me I have had a major water leak and a fire so they have had to face some difficult situations. The service that we have received from Molly Maids Aylesbury is nothing like the claims made on the website. Despite repeatedly emailing the lady who runs the business, nothing ever changes! The appointment was arranged for midday as both my husband and I work full time and our schedules are tight. I booked molly maid following an injury to my arm. I was told the first clean would more expensive as the cleaners would take more time getting to know my house, which was fine. Molly Maid had quoted £300 to clean a 3 bedroom house after a kitchen refurbishment. The house was very dusty. This was noted in the estimate. After the first clean, many areas included in the quote were untouched or partially cleaned. Footstool not move, high dusting such as wardrobes and picture rails left, even some eye level stuff. The level of cleanness is acceptable, but not as thorough as I would expect. I started using Molly Maid service since October 2016. They come once every 2 weeks, and do the cleaning while I'm at work. Today is the first time they come to clean while I'm at home and I realised that they only spent 30 mins between two persons. “Don't do the job right according to description”

I received a quote and the franchise owner seemed pleasant enough. I was given a window for the girls to turn up and they arrived 5-10 minutes after this window (not a big problem) The franchise owner had made me many promises about the clean I would receive and said they would come back for free if I am not happy. As you will be able to see, I have detailed the attendance at my property to re-clean; and would assume that you note that this was a re-attendance to carry out the work detailed in the original estimate that had been provided, as this had not been done on the first visit as admitted by the franchise.

The fact I had to fight tooth and nail to get that second clean, in the process being talked down to and in some cases openly laughed at by three different members of staff at the franchise on a number of occasions, and in the end was informed by yourselves that the two smashed pictures and broken shower hose that the franchise has admitted were caused by them during the clean, were in fact "not the responsibility" of the franchise. So please, unless you are willing to do anything more than the job which you were paid for and ultimately left me out of pocket for the subsequent repairs, do not belittle my review of your company when it certainly should be recognised by all involved my issues are more than legitimate.

“Disappearing act”

We were actually quite pleased with the cleaning job done by our MM cleaners. We'd had disappointing experiences with other cleaners in the past so had realistic expectations. The cost was significantly higher than others but felt this was a worthwhile trade off for the reassurance provided by using a big franchised company. However... One day nobody showed up. If it's any consolation, I'm an ex member of staff who was also sacked unfairly. They pay staff awful rates and pocket the rest. Terrible management with customers and staff. Yes, lots of staff leave swiftly, and there's clearly a good reason. Sorry that happened to you. You can find a lot better out there.

Your bulk standard response serves little or no purpose. As the local Owner did not bother to respond to our 2nd e-mail we put it down to unprofessional behaviour. There's no point in contacting her again as we would not want her or any of her cleaners in our house again! As already stated we have a brilliant lady now - she's worth her weight in gold.
