Good Points: Good depth and detail. Good pictures. Good features.

Bad Points: Relatively Costly. Limited number of contributors. Occasional bias.

General comments: Four four two is a classy football magazine which is designed for adults. The articles are very professional and have a good level of detail. The magazine has a good number of features per issue and i usually find myself reading it in its entirety. On the down side; there are too many adverts. A limited number of contributors also creates a lack of balance and the same opinions are often recycled. In times of financial unsecurity; it is also on the costly side.
Four four two's key strengths are in design/style and its interviews. They are one of the only football magazines to ask "real" questions and they always manage to get the biggest names in the game.
It's main weakness is a bias towards the big names. Other negatives include the price and the amount of adverts.
It has to be said that you wont find many better football magazines and, if you love football, this magazine should keep you entertained for a good few hours.
