    Good Points: They look pretty

    Bad Points: See general comments.

General comments: I have two Guardian Generators. A 15 KW at one location (VA) and a Guardian 5421 45KW in Florida. Both have failed to start. In VA it was a bad controller board, in Florida first a bad engine (ford) and it was replaced the second Mitsubishi engine) ran for about a year and a transducer went bad. I haven't known a customer that could depend on their Guardian product. I have also had a Generac portable on my boat that never ran right. I would not recommend a generac or Guardian product to anyone that needs emergency power. I also have a Briggs and Stratton generator at a third location. It has never had a problem and comes with a 4 year warranty versus Guardians 1 year warranty.
