    Been going to Sundrum for a few years now. Very disappointed this time round and have seen it deteriorate over the years as they say they are putting in money into the site!! From a parent's point of view- caravan fine no problem. Clean, standard caravan. Swimming pool ok and play park nice.
    After 'touring' other sites and comparing them, Sundrum entertainment for kids is not good. Staff gave impression they couldn't be bothered with the kids- rarely came out as the 'fun characters',activities were not as planned and some spent the time talking to child minder who wasn't on site who brought her squad of kids!!!! Sadly, will not be returning as entertainment is crucial for 6 and 4 year olds. Not expecting 5 star treatment but 1 star would be nice!Been to other parkdean hols which are worlds apart.

    Parkdean, Sundrum Castle Holiday Park, Ayr is a great caravan for a relaxing week.. to be honest there wasnt a lot to do.. the usual pool etc but its very close to ayr town centre where theres lots to do, beach, farm park, shops, pubs & nite clubs! something for everyone.
