    The Big Problem here is that the NEW service requires a Mobile phone.
    1) I rarely use a mobile phone.
    2) Unable to get Mobile network in Mid Wales Valley
    3) Mobile communication is not Secure !

    Do not use the new service it is less secure that the previous version !

    After 8 years I've finally had enough. Terrible service, branch staff appaling, phone banking people just as bad, complaints not dealt with, and so many mess ups that I can't take it anymore. No one takes responsibility, stupid admin failings on their part, easy to sort out I needed to ask literally 6 times over the course of 10 months to fix something (in this instance my new address where paper statements should be sent too). Beyond hopeless. I'm taking my business else where.

    Abbey Internet Banking site I have ever used seemingly since the takeover.

    The given telephone contact numbers for Abbey Internet Banking technical help on internet banking:
    took me to business banking!
    business banking transfer you to personal banking
    the number rang for ever then cut me off!

    i decided to call another department listed on the ib contact us screen.
    the options given on calling general/internet registration don't give you a 'registration' option until you have taken a guess at a previous option!

    on registration passcode/registration letters do ...

    Where do I start? We have had a business account for last 2 years and had nothing but problems. Many complaints and 3 times they have paid compensation. Latest problem we have is that for the last 3 months we have not bee able to view statements on line. They don't care. Fed up with ringing and with their attitude. Cannot recommend Abbey Business at all. Do not open an account with them.

    There is plenty of useful info on www.abbey.com. I did not find the service easy to use as this is my first time trying to log on to internet banking. I'm left slightly confused as to where to go next. Overall there is plenty to read as im trying to find where i should be. Site could be more user friendly for those who don't really understand cumputers or like myself just starting to learn

    Overall poor, compared to others I use. Phone only help, dec08 no answer after 1 hr on hold (paying call).
    Poor update of site, errors each time. Personal banking is atrocious, business slightly better.
    OK it is free, but I've paid in stress believe me!

    Easy to use and never had a problem. Statements viewable over a long period of time (ie 6 months). Interest on current account and eaily linked with savings account.
    An ideal inernet bank offering all you need and simple to operate.
