“Bedding nightmare to iron, USA sizes unusual”

I love White Company style and products, but this is the first time I've bought their bedding. We relocated to the USA so are buying everything new. We got the USA king size santorini duvet cover and pillow cases. The standard size pillow cases actually required king size pillows. We have learnt that in the USA 'king' sized bedding doesn't mean just one set of dimensions. “Do not buy if you are unsure on keeping!!!”

The White company products are great. However if you are unsure on keeping the item - don't buy! I ordered a set of trays for £65.00 which came in a GIANT box, only to find out they weren't suitable. The White company make you pay for your own returns and recommend to send them recorded. Just been to the post office to pay £15.00 for delivery!!!! “ Charged £200, never delivered, refusing refund”

This has now escalated to a paypal claim; I paid via paypal for a voucher for £200 for my wife's Christmas present on 2nd December It never arrived- I chased and chased it, they said they had sent it "signed for" but would resend- it never arrived. With Christmas pending, I asked for a refund. I have tried many times to contact TWC either by phone or email but to no avail, they clearly don't want to be contacted! “Sheets which pill after 3 washes and dread customer...”

I spent £100 on a fitted sheet and 2 pillow cases in October. The sheet has pilled very badly after only 3 washes. I have been a loyal customer to the White Company for over 10 years, but when I contacted them to complain about the sheet I was told that this fabric does pill and that they will send me a pilling comb in the post to remove the bobbles. I purchased a double duvet cover and pillowcases from the White Company for my daughters bedroom. The cover had 2 buttons missing and one cracked in half. Given I have had to complain to the White Company before and received such poor customer care they sent me 50.00 worth of vouchers to apologise for such a shabby service. Totally agree - have complained about the 'easy-care range, but only got a copy of their washing instructions from the website (which of course I'd already followed) and told it might get better with use. And it was called 'easy care'. Maybe 'easy care' means crinkled? Maybe this is acceptable in 2014?

No offer of refund, replacement. I shall go to John Lewis or any other reputable store when I can afford to splash out on new guest room bedding - wish I hadn't fallen for the glitzy upmarket image.

“Remains to be seen”

Unlike other reviewers, I have always got through to their Customer Services immediately. However, I find the results poorly lacking. Emails are responded to after days, promises are made on calls but never followed through. Even the complaint email they offer on the website is a black hole. “Misleading customer services”

I am living in the USA, On a trip to the UK last week I ordered some trousers from a UK store, I was informed that The White Company is now in the USA so if I needed to return my order I could do that to the USA. “Online Customer Service very poor -won't buy from them...”
